fake battleping!

battleping is a fake tool.....when i use it and play show me 150+ping in game from 500+ wich i have ussualy without it......but in game conditions are worst then without using battleping!for me is fake!

 

That's because you have no idea how it works or how to use it. Too many morons choose a server closest to them instead of closest to the actual game server, then look surprised. Of course pinging a reducer server near you will show low ping, it is near you.

Yea, the only time a server gets increased ping is when it crashes, texas servers seem to crash 1-2 times a week. I actually switched to east coast (even though NA Tiamat is in texas) and usually get like 250-280 instead of 450-550 (650-850 when it crashes). Right now I am ingame getting 230 lol, lowest I ever got

 

pls excuse me i forgot to tell i use just chicago 1 and chicago 2 ( after i test others ) ho show me 137 ping-140 maximum....but the weird thing is when i input /ping command show me 150+ping in game and the game load worst then without using battleping!my ping ussualy is 500+ without battleping!so for me is fake!

 

Dude, im on chicago 2 server my ping is what it's supposed to be...

 

The way I see it, you're whining for having 150ms when your ping is supposed to be 500ms without BP. LOL?? You actually expect BP to give you 2 digits ping or make your PC's performance faster and better?? You're kidding!

Nah I have a feeling it is the other issue, he is saying battleping itself (in the program interface) says 150ms but ingame he gets 500 or so.

The only 2 options are bp server crashing (which Dondee said isn't the case) or the game wasn't detected. Go to battleping and click Connection, set it to Connection 2, you might also wanna click Advanced and use the backup driver. Connection 1 does nothing for aion, the driver detrmines how BP is used. With the new crappy driver it detects connection attempts at login screen. The old driver detects aion.bin when it pops up in task manager. I find the old driver more reliable.

Make sure the game isn't running, then click the connect button in battleping, wait like 5 seconds and run aion, it will say game detected and apply the http tunnel connection.

Or maybe, he gets 150ms in-game but he feels no difference with his ping with or without BP, that it's like he still has 500ms even it shows 150ms. Sometimes I feel some delay in-game and when I check my ping it's below 200ms, which I find weird.

 

Oh now I get what he meant. Battleping itself shows 137-140 and he gets 150 ingame. In that case he is still a moron and has fcked up standards. Battleping is pinging their own server, not gamez server, so of course the ping will be lower in the program. Also 10 ping means nothing compared to the fact that his real ping is 3 times higher than what he has with the program. I have no idea why he is complaining and making a fool of himself

 

bingo smartik got it.....yes this is my problem when i use BP in game/ping show me 150+ping(i have 500+ without BP)but game load worst then without BP,and when i open the BP interface wich is always on connection 2 i search for lowers ping from chicago 1 and chicago 2(cuze just this 2 servers i use)!!i know best is to use a location near server location not near my location!i think too many people use it this BP on this 2 locations and server is almost to crash cuze is weird to show a 150+ping wich is normal like always for me and game load like without using it!

To be honest gamez server itself is not as stable as people think. When I play on eu retail from na and get 150 ms or so it runs smoother than gamez when I'm at 40 ms. Lol sometimes it's not the ping it's the server.

 

oh yea and never trust your in game ping lolz...or those reducers

 

when i used BP i just go to connection 2 select the server u prefer then click connect button doesn't have to w8 for 5secs.. whats the purpose of waiting 5secs coz when u enter in the game after actvating the BP it will automatically detect the game.

150+ is low ping why mourned for jst a small figure difference.. when i connect in West 1 or 2 the ping on the BP server is 177 but it doesnt work jst what it was my ping ingame is 350 average the lowest is 280ms w/o ping reducer im in 700ms-1k..so?

 

Or just move to America and get all this shit done with.

 

Well ever since my isp got their shit in line my ping has been about 20 ms spikes to 70ish in game, and without a program like leatrix i run upwards of 300 ping werid huh >_>.. yea i think the server just sucks
