Enchantment Bug?

if u look on the chat log on the left of this images it shows my character's name getting announced that I have enchanted a gear till level 15 but it doesnt seem so. The first time this happened to me I even tried relogging. Is this some bug I was not informed about?

 

Honestly probably some bug but it doesn't look to major.

Btw did you actually enchant your gear to level 15? or did it announce you leveled it to 15 at level 14?

and as far as I know I have herd no complains of this "bug" well not on the forums anyway not so sure about in-game but it may be a bug due to the latest updates we have had.

 

yes it was from level 14 to 15... im just glad this time i used the same l108 stone and it didnt fail.. coz last time it did which sucks because i already should have a successfully enchanted tunic at15.

 

It's been known to happen every now and then. Happened to me a few times too. I guess you never encountered someone that had this problem until now that it has happened to you.

 

oh thanks I hope they get it fixed soon. now I know i have to stack up on more high level stones for this not major but its an annoying bug.

I have a feeling I know what the problem is, have a question for you. Does the newly implemented enchanting work on gamez? As in every enh stone has a chance to enh not just +1 but even +2 or +3. My guess here would be that the game thinks you enhed it 2 lvls with that stone and announced it, even though the item just enhed +1

 

No no, my gear was +14 when it announced it was enchanted till 15, but it wasnt. This new enchanting system, idk this at all. You mean that at some rate a piece of stone can enchant more than +1? I dont think its implemented in gamez at all.

 

Yup, new feature on retail. I actually went from +0 to +3 with 1 stone on my kahrun jewel on retail once, of course then I failed 11 stones in a row and at the end went from +0 to +2. Wasted a warehouse of enh stones for that crap.

 

i know how u fix it, just use very low level enchants so ur gear get less then +10 and try again to +15 it wont happen again the bug.

 

No offense but that is a really stupid solution. They should fix the code, not make people ruin their enh level just so a message wont show up in chat.

Still think the reason is a conflict with the new feature. You have +13 gear, the next enh should have been +2 so it announces you got +15, but the server forces +1 enh max so you end up as +14 anyway.

 

no smartik its not like that, when that message appeared it was because i enchanted my +14 gear to +15 and it remained +14. It succeeded but it didnt work somehow, and if it failed it should'v been +10
