HEY!!!! guys what r u talking about?
1)r u understand, that only CLERIC have: Cleanse, Dispell and Cure Mind?! + more strong heal than chanter( even no need WoQ )
2)when u in duo, there "MUST" be a CLER ( btw u can try with chanter too... just make sure that its not so good)
3)about second person: ofc its more easy to heal warrior(btw if u have bad armor and ur mate have good armor ), but if u geared good, ur friend - is sorc (nuker)
4) cler + sm = OP = unbeatable = not interest to play (even vs over9000 enemies) = u understand what im talking about?
5) ofc there r many good duos with other classes, but u need to think abstinently (HEAL + DPS = WIN)
6) what objections can be?

Like this thread, actually has some substance instead of stupid BS topics I rarely even bother opening up.


I must say that Glad and Chanter have the best duo, the glad for it's intense DPS yet still tanking abilities, and the chanter for it's strong support both offensive and defensive. I really wish I could have PvPed with Chibby in 2.5 with knowing how to play like I do now. You found so many more fights that pushed you just to your limits so you can get better, now the amount of new skills and gears has made pvp so fast paced that you can't introduce too many variables before you die. Pretty sure I would never leave if I found a 2.0 server.

I'll go with:
*Cleric + Chanter
*Cleric/Chanter + Gladiator
*Cleric/Chanter + Templar
*Assassin + Assassin
*Sorcerer + Cleric
*Cleric + Assassin

Tried all these and came out pretty well for a duo. Yet again, it will always depend on the players.

 

You, me, and Oat in Heiron that one day, I think that's when I truly felt godlike. Too bad I only got 1 shitty clip because I wanted to get better before I did the film. Ironic once I got good enough all the good pvp went away.

Chanter + Glad as clubs said. Great Dps, Glads have UD , Great aoes, very nice DPS.

Chanter 2 remove shocks, unstoppable (like UD) mantras , buffs and heals with DPS skills too.

This class would be best for facing zergs ( 2 vs 5-10 ).


people say sorc/chanter and sm/chanter.

I'm sorry but that's a bad for duoing maybe if your not taking on zergs, but you will never take on a zerg over 5+.

Why?

Well SM's are dot damage based, with no aoes, no way of killing a zerg not to mention once there Removeshock is done your dead even with the aoe fear they will die, fear effect only last a few seconds, and it's take more then a few seconds to kill some on a sm as they got no nuking skills I would recommend doing MB build if you want to solo/duo as SM.

Sorc yes they are nuke based but they depend on buffs, and magic suppression has weaken sorc in a way they were very strong in 2.0 and once again, once there removeshock is used they are dead as they will get stumble/stun locked.

sorc are paper they die in a few seconds as glads got plate and UD and can tank much more damage (physical damage).

oh and to be "best duo" I'm sorry but you need a cleric or a chanter without heals you won't last a second not in this zerg of a server. ;p
