remoddel question

i have a question about remoddeling a extendable weapon.
i was thinking to remodel my ddl spear but if i do that will it lose the extendable ability?
or do i have to remoddel with a other extendable weapon to make sure i dont lose the extendable ability on my spear?

The parameters of your primary wep always stay. If your base weapon is extendable, it will always be extendable. You will just lose the extendable animation, it will still reach just as far.

If your base weapon can't extend and you remodel with extendable, it will look like it extends, but the reach will stay short xd

Same applies to fusion

Extendable Weapons
The appearance and characteristics of a primary weapon stay the same even after Fusion.
If the Primary weapon is extendable, that characteristic will be maintained after Fusion.
The appearance and characteristics of the Secondary weapon do not apply.

now that i think of it...

if remoddel it with a non extend weapon and lose the animation, some people might think im hacking lol..

 

Nah the reach is generally accepted here regardless of what it looks like, it is common for people to have extendables. I wouldn't worry about it. And even if, GMs can always check your gear and close any report made. They don't happen though unless your range is crazy long beyond any extendable.
