@First quote - Staff actually have massive restrictions on what items they can trade to other players. It is not a rule they can disobey, it is hard coded, period. This is because of the past power abuse cases. A claim like this is meaningless, they can't give away gear even if they wanted to.

@Second quote - How about you trace the server IP instead of coming up with conspiracy theories? Or use your brain? If it was hosted in the Philippines, pinoys would be the ones with lowest ping, not americans as you can see in many of the ping threads here. Also how would you sustain a server in a country with crappy internet. You wouldn't have enough bandwidth to handle this many people. Then there are IP based statistics from visitors to the website and to the forums, for the website only 33% are pinoy IPs. Unless 2/3 of pinoys use a US proxy just to change their ping from 10s of ms to like 600+ with no benefit, those statistics are accurate.

 

i hate how other Pinoys tarnish the reputation of other respectful Pinoy gamers (and the Philippines in particular, in the eyes of some players).
because of them, PINOY is now synonymous to NINJA LOOTER and other stuff, at least in-game.
this is just really sad. i hope this changes.

why the filipino topic here?

 

If a filipino decided to host a server that would benefit the pinoys (or lets say carl,since most of the players here in gamez are pinoys anyway), then technically korea/japan would have good hosts for an online game server right? I wonder why some filipino servers dont host it in those asian countries and they instead host their servers in USA, what is really the point? Unless korea and japan dont really have hosting companies or are unreliable, i dont see why.. Because i live in Greece and if the majority of my players were greeks or generally from europe my server would be in europe, it wouldnt be in USA. Umm.
