Need help

i have just downloaded gamez installer and did everything like the guide said, but if i start the game it says "failed to initialize the game"ive have updated aion to the latest version, Repaired it for 4 times trough the nc soft launcher but i still get the error

so what the problem?

Download and install this: Download DirectX 9.0c (Jun 10) - Download - FileHippo.com See if that helps.

Might be your Direct X that isn't up to date.

 

extract in my aion folder or doesent it matter? because there are alot of files

You put Gamez Launcher inside Aion's folder, right?

Also, have you modified any Item.paks? I remember getting a similar error when I messed my item paks up.

 

Yes i have the launcher in the aion folder, can i delete the item.pak and reapir the client?? you think it would work, because i dont know what to and dont to delete

 

Have you modified it? Like, have you changed anything since you installed/updated the client? Is it a freshly installed client or is it just an updated one?

You probably just updated a client you already had from another server.

If not... uh... we'll see what else could be causing this.

 

Ive did everything the page was telling me, version 1 and 2 but still the stupid error, so i give up i uninstall aion entirely, delete everything because my normal Aion wont start either anymore with the same error,so i hope after redownload and everything it is fixed,if its not you see me here again =) thnx for your help #wishmeluck

 

You don't have to. Okay, wait. I'll simplify it for you.

Your Aion\Data\USA\items\ has to be completely empty. Make sure you remove everything from it and extract only this file inside it: http://www.mediafire.com/?xu4c5dbn5n3avc0

Your Aion\Data\items\ has to contain only this file and nothing else: http://www.mediafire.com/?9c2u42hiif14dt0

Do that and see if it runs. If you can't manage to run it, delete everything in Aion\Data\USA\items\ and try again.

 

So , ihave re- installed Aion, I tried everything i could find on the internet, i tried what you posted above but nothing works, i still have the stupid error. I can only able to start and play the Aion from the Gameforce Launcher( EU) but through the NCSoft launcher Aion wont start . You have any more ideas?? Thnx already

 

Gameforge =/= NCsoft, you need to install Aion using the NCsoft launcher.

 

I did install aion using the NC soft launcher and i have aion installed using the gameforce launcher, 2 different maps with 2 different clients. EU client and NA client. Eu client works through the gameforce launcher but NA client dont work through the NCSoft launcher, and i always have had 2 clients no probs with it. since NCsoft launcher had an update and i get that stupid 1024 error

 

Check your NCsoft Launcher if it is set to load the right folder. I've had my NCsoft launcher path to the wrong folder since I have 2 copies of Aion, one for Gamez, other for retail.

 

Yes it is the correct aion.bin , i have tried the aion.bin from 64 bit and change the maps name also but it dont work, im running out of ideas i have just deleted the L10N folder andits reapairing now but i dont think its going to work

 

Done with repairing, have a fresh L10N folder again but still the F***** error, im getting rlly sick of this shit

 

I'm kinda out of ideas. Last thing I can think of (that I would do) is delete everything from GameForge, repair the other Aion using NCSoft and try running game again. If that doesn't work, I would delete them all. Absolutely everything. After that, do a completely brand new install. That just has to work.

 

So Complete computer wipe it is. everything for being able to play thnx for your help if this doesent work, you never ever going to see me again here ^^

 

No worries, we'll get it to work. I'm positive a 100% pure new install would help. Just make sure you remove everything before that. (From both clients. GameForge and NCSoft) And install NCSoft only.

 

hi im having a problem i can log in and get to server select but i cant get in after that i get "no game server is available to the authorization server (6)"
