    Simplest explanation: 1 Magic Suppression = -1Magic Boost reduction in damage taken.
    e.g. You: 2500MB - Target: 500MS = 2000MB dmg dealt.

    It has nothing to do with Magic Resist.

    That is when things gets complicated. It is dependent on your class (The base number of knowledge), the skill in question (some have a bigger variance in damage) AND your target's defense (ele def., magic supp, level).
