there are pros & cons for every class, if you think sorcerer is way too op then you might as well change it, then again you will complain that leather class is too op if you are using sorcerer. the cycle continues

 

People should realize balance in every game. Every class have it's weakness. It'll be boring if you are too OP and kill everyone in one blow.

 

PVP against a sorc:
1st thing you have to do against a sorc is to close the distance ASAP. deliver the 1st blow and you will see blood in the water.
2nd disable (stun, stumble, para, silence, ETC) them while breaking their stone skin. so they can't disable you.
3rd once the stone skin is down. kick the living crap out of them.

for overall PVP:
learn to be a situational PVPer, dont use all your buffs at once, know what skills to use in a particular situation.

E.g. dont use second wind at the start of the fight, coz i have seen some glads use second wind before the clash.

and also try to learn that the players weakness is.. and learn how your class works.. and figure out the weaknesses of the opponent.

learn that and you will probably be able to take on 2v1s

some people know their classes and know how to handle every situation, that is why people like Breeze and hoppy are thought to be hackers because its difficult to kill them and kill you easily, but the truth of the matter is they are not hackers. the reason being that they know their classes very well and are able to handle the situation that is being presented to them.

P.S.: i mentioned hoppy and breeze coz they are the best example for this and i revere them among the best players in gamez. ^_^

 

fighting ranger you can open Second Wind 1st, since their damage in the 1st few attk are too dangerous (some of them only)

 

Also while fighting a sin if you use sw their combo doesn't do shit makes them pretty easy to mess up .
I think there are only two truly op classes on aion one is spiritmaster...fighting a sin? resist their ambush and (most) are screwed...fighting a ranger ? chain of earth + insta fear + sleep they toast too....ofc every battle is situation based and most sms don't know their class worth anything. Not to mention how 1 dispel can take out 90% of a players hp...thats no op at all. The other is templar A good templar can faceroll even an sm all they gota do is time iron skin and aether armor right and make sure it dont get dispeled...oh and ofc templar are epic zerg tankers nothing like having an mr temp using zikel's shield and aether armor and beating the shit out of people while u take no damage.

 

Hey just want to ask, base on the discussions regarding Godstone relation with MA, so it means that having high MA would yield higher proc rate on GS?

Also, are all stun effect of Gladiator would be more effective if you have high MA? or Acc is already enough?

For PVP, what is really the best Mana stone for Gladi for defence and during attack mode? Thanks!!!

It go's both ways to be honest.

Sorc hit pretty hard but not to hard anymore due to suppression gear so consider your self lucky.

But glads hit super hard at sorc to there cloth so you can easily kill them especially glads being the highest attack class should be able to kill them 3-4 hits.

Just stumble them make them use there remove shock then stumble lock them and there dead.

It's best to charge them as soon as you see them and break there stone skin fast as possible, stumble them, then stumble again.

Silence helps too.

Always charge a sorc and give them everything you got dont give them time to cast skills.

Without there cast buffs, and mb buffs they aren't really strong they rely on buffs well most sorc here do.

 

use dual set...(use macro)LMAO change instantly when cast sleep you can equipped SIEL FORGOTTEN CLOTH SET OR CHAIN SET FULL MR ms .... then when you break the stone skin its time for revenge... good luck^^

 

MR wont really help tbh.

Why? Well all sorc full buff when they duel/fight most sorc on the server can't even kill without buffs which is sad you shouldn't rely on buffs to win.

Sorc got 2 ma buffs with short cds.

1000+ ma and a other one with 200+ ma that gives them over 3k MA and I'm afraid it's impossible to resist that even if your full MR and I believe as glad you will only get to 2300-2400 MR and with MR set you will have pathetic damage unless your low ping and really know how to use glad.

The only option are run, run and kite there buffs, all charge them and kill them.

 

Im sorc and i can say woc lvl 1 or woc lvl 2 isnt fair because theres not a similar wings to magic class and give so much speed atack (i see many glads make 4 o 5 five atack in less than 4 seconds and u think a sorc can survivor that? the shield of sorc have a 10 min cd the other is some useless because he is stun and more 1 shield is 5 second the other 8 and stone skin with a hit is broked) i can say extendables is a advantage silence of sin like 30 second is unfair sm and fear fear fear is bored and bla bla bla........ the cloth gear is like paper 1000 to 1200 phy def? :innocent: with the skill that low the phy def like 500 or 700 what more need to kill a sorc

all class have weakness and advantage over other class if u cant kill a sorc u need better gear and more practice and be fast not change or add skill or stats a sin can say is unfair glads and templar have UD and bla bla bla

just learn to play vs any class if need a gear full mr get it

Woc2 is amazing on magic classes as well..you must have never used them. For sorc sm and leathers if your even getting hit by a glad ur doin it wrong

 

socket your sorc w/ block parry and hp, you might survive longer >

 

Actually a sorc with 17k + hp is kinda op mode

Mr glad is 2510 mr...never get hit by godstones roots or lockdown. Counter sode you crit less but crit isnt that needed when you know how to.play. Also unbuffed most sorcs have under 2k ma easy 50% resist chance at that point. It is probably the best build to have when fighting multiple people....cus lets be honest when you are fighting people they are for the most part not full geared.

 

seriously???u make glad like a girls :3...then im wondering...why many ppl choosing to be glad if this class is weak??

 

Men. MR does not work on sorc. it has enough MA to land u its skills. Magic suppress may help to reduce its MB.. ^^, Gudluck

A good sorc does not lose to a gladiator, ever.
