Not Sure Wats going on here :D

Im recently trying to com back to gamez. I have the game installed and the 3.7 gamez launcher. The game seems to load fine and then i get hit with this message.

Oooh, right click the gamez launcher and run it as administrator, user account control is blocking access to program files so the gamez launcher can't patch it. That file is the login screen news feed override xd

I would strongly recommend turning off user account control because that bs causes more problems than it solves

go to control panels -> users/user accounts -> user account control (last option)
Vista - uncheck the box, accept, restart your PC
Win 7 - drag the slider all the way down, accept, restart your PC
Win 8 - Follow the steps here, comments mentioned the visual way no longer disables it, so editing the registry as stated in the guide may be required.

yeah i clicked on the filerepair on the NCsoft launcher which was loading surprisingly fast last night, I woke up this morning and its still on 99% idk if its lagging or not but i havent touched it. Just waiting.

 

It crossed my mind when I saw the access denied, but I wasn't sure. Thank you Smarty =p

The new ncsoft launcher is bugged as hell xd luckily you don't really need it for gamez. By the way user account control is gonna keep causing problems for both. It is something microsoft added to protect people from their own stupidity (it's that popup that keeps asking if you are really really sure whenever you try do anything), but causes more problems than it solves. Running as admin bypasses it but it is better to just keep it off.
