New NCSoft Launcher IMPORTANT

Hello everyone, my name is Jorge, I've read that this place is just for serious discussions and im pretty sure this is serious but important; I really want to play gamez aion with you all but I have a serious problem: Ive been reading that before downloading the game i have to change the region to NA but in this new launcher there's no advance settings menu where I can change it. I have already downloaded the game, it took me 48 hours dont know why but I was patient. After all that time i have been waiting, the download was finally complete but when i ran the game according to the instructions, a window appears saying that the game was not able in my country so what can I do. I think its an important topic because I'm sure I'm not the only guy who has this problem and it means that no new players are able to play gamez aion so that also means less players in the server. Please, I will really appreciate any help

 

IDK How ya guys get your hands on this new launcher. I ran mine several times and it's still the old one. Even though it says "Updating" and whatnot.

Thnx, all i wanna know is if it is possible for new players who has no aion game installed of any kind to play on this server.

 

A few people already got a full client using the new launcher. It is true the new one has no region settings options. You can try the fix from the old days, that is, deleting your L10N folder and repairing the client. That is the folder that handles regions. A lot of old bug fixes will need to be tested and rewritten so keep posting as much detail as you can so we can find out what works for the new one.

@Meanz Clicking the update button in the old launcher asked first and then downloaded the new one. It also asked if you want to remove or keep the old aion client (I kept mine). Judging by the crazy amount of errors I would guess they stopped forcing it until 4.0 comes out at least.
