Copying Aion 4.0 from another comp

@smartikKKKK i just copy a 4.0 client to a other computer.. but when i put it here.. the update restart again.. i dont know why.. can u help me plz? or anyone plz? ty

 

It's because some of the installed files are not in the Aion folder.

I've said it many times. Best way of dealing with Aion is getting a fresh, clean install if you are to play it from another computer. Otherwise, as you see, it can get messy. Especially now with 4.0 downgrades too.

 

nope i was playing it on my other computer.. and i just want to transfer it to other computer.. its fresh and ok.. ofc why should i downloaded again on the other computer if i can get it finish already on the other computer.. ><

 

It's because some of the installed files are not in the Aion folder.

The setup creates a NCSoft folder usually located on your C, regardless of where you installed the game.

I tried doing that a long time ago and it doesn't work. Just install the game again.

Actually there are ways to bypass that. Only the nclauncher needs to be in C. You can edit the registry for the Aion folder to be in any drive. I know it works since my Aion 4.0 is in E while my launcher is in C.
Also with 3.7 clients, you can just copy the entire folder and place it in another computer and it'll load fine. Helped my friend done that in the past and also did it myself with my two PCs.

 

i was trying to clone my HDD and its work, but u have to same model of your computer, and same Operating System too.

 

I was playing in gamez aion and had crit error and the game would load anymore. So I rebooted which made things worse. Now I'm on a new hdd and none of the down grades work. I did everything it said to do for the downgradeing but nothing. It's still 4.0.0.2 I've been trying to get this work for the past 6 hrs.

 

Downgrades doesn't work

After I had to re-install Aion and I downloaded the "downgrades" and installed them like the site said. I'm still at ver. 4.0.0.2 the downgrade did nothing and when I try to run gamez launcher I get this: "The application failed to initialize properly (oxc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application". I'm out of ideals....I run XP and was working until the crit error 3 days ago crashed Aion.

Please I need help in a bad way!
