Problem in launcher

i reformat my computer today and i install win xp and evry thing is ok when i log to gamezaion i get this problem any solution ?

Are you sure your Gamez launcher is inside Aion's folder?

 

It seems it says the the game hasn't been installed properly, make sure the GamezAion launcher is inside the Aion folder, which is by default this folder: C:\Progams Files\NCsoft\Aion

 

Yeah i am sure 100% its not my first time i installing aion

 

Well I don't know how sure you are, but I am sure it doesn't say aion.bin not found. It does say application error which means it is not related to where it is installed as to the fact that it can't run itself.

I am also sure that windows xp doesn't come with .net framework 4 which is required to run the launcher so the first thing you should do is install it
Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Center
Restart your pc when it is installed, then it will run (or at least tell you the other error which means it is installed in the wrong place if you didn't install it in your aion folder xd but it will be capable of running)

By the way the fact that you installed it many times is kinda irrelevant right now since the new ncsoft launcher has been putting the client in different locations for different people (such as freely dumped in the NCwest folder with no aion folder)

Where did you get that OS lol, what service pack is your windows running? Either way, when I looked up the error it said you actually need an earlier version of .net framework to run that, which is 2.0 (that thing is really old). You can get it here
Download Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 from Official Microsoft Download Center
Again install and restart, then try and see if it works

Edit: Just found out the requirement for .net framework 4 is windows xp service pack 3. If you are using a lower service pack you have to update your windows first

 

Downloading hope it will work i am using Win xp Service pack 2

 

Ye figured, you have to get service pack 3, SP2 hasn't been supported for quite a long time
