Interesting new stuff indeed...but what I want to see in gamez is the eventual end to players ability to hack/cheat. GMs know that cheaters/hackers in gamez use Cheat Engine or CE for short. There are software out there that can block this malicious program server side, but the CEO needs to invest on it. It's very discouraging to know that we donate real money to keep the server running and get good items, only to be "pwned" by cheaters who rely mostly on injectors and animation hacks.

Once again more people complaining about character skills and match ups before actually looking at counters.

1. SMs counter is SW
2. SW counter is Glad/Ranger with silence
3. Gunners counter is rangers with high MA.

Every class in the game is OP but to their perfect counter. People need to learn that the game isn't changing all that much since this has been the aion method for years.

 

Next in Aion , riding a pony which farts rainbows THAT kicks your ass, while aiming at ya with a 50 mm gun thingy.... hurray for ruining a nice game

 

and to think gamezaion is getting 4.0 and ncsoft is going for 4.5 lol fun fun im still comeing back to gamezaion tho

 

They better make NTO sets/weapons, NCC set/weapons and TAC Officer weapons available at 4.0. :unsure:

Yes really. As long as the ranger has high MA and alot of stun/silence skills a gunner is trash. They cant dps if they get resisted as well. Let's say you cast your Pistol shot you can usually use it up to 7 times. However if you get resisted on the first round (or any round for that matter) it automatically goes on cool down and you are unable to cast more skills in chain of that or any of your other pistol dps chain skills. So in order to try again right away you need to cast Rapid Reload which lets you try once more but then that skill will go on cool down for 20 seconds. If you get resisted again then you are SoL cause honestly their dps is shit without Pistol Shot, Head Shot, and Steam Shot.

There are other ways to go about countering gunners. But the best I've found is a Ranger. As I said before I have both a Gunner and Ranger I do crazy amount of PvP with and when I see a ranger while I'm on my gunner the first thought in my head is "well shit"

Everyone will hate the new Gunner class. Sorcs will be happy but SM's will bow down a little. Templars will be God, and so with the Bards. Gladiators will pwn some but will get pissed off by the rangers and assassins, which the Gunners will sure be the first in their eyes. But with these chanters that can blink they can run as far as they could, but leaving behind the old folk clerics. Buckle up, this patch is all about Magic. One that I am so sure is that Gunners will be a pain in the ass. :')

well in retail alot of them hate the gunners ever since week 1 of 4.0

 

They hate Gunner because of the stunlock kills mana drains and leaching skills.... MR will be useful.

 

I was hoping if they could add the Outlaw Transformation Potion.... It would be so much fun killing your own race.. killed or be killed... Make it cheap please. It will surely fix your zerg problem. :3
