Someone any idea of this problem

Hi guys, asking some help to those who help me out of this..i installed the full 4.0 version. When i need to downgrade it, i got some errors on extracting files from smartik's downgrade links.

Like this error, you know guys how to fix it and extract normaly. By the way i got an Window 8 lappy. Please help me how to extract those without error. THanks forward.

check if you have the NC Update Helper running in your background.. or the NCLauncher exe is running in your background.. cuz you cannot modify the content of the aion folder if those two are running in the background.. your can check them by Ctrl+Alt+Del then find the above mention under the Task Manager then go to Processes.. then just End Process if they are running.. this is what i can help you.. if this dont work.. i dunno whats wrong

1.Redownload
1a.Try all mirrors
1b.Watch when its dawnloading maybe connection problems and stop on 99% of dawnload ??
2.Unpack it to desktop not to aion folder, than copy to aion
3.Try other promgram like 7zip etc..
4.Check anyvirus maybe it blocking it
5.Scan and clear computer with CCcleaner

well you have a lot of help already.. just follow the above.. ill just add another one..

go to your aion folder and then right click > go to properties > then go to security tab > then go to permisions > then advanced setup > check the full control.. and other boxes that is not yet check then apply/save and ok.. try again extracting...

if smartik were online he could help you

 

Right click on the zipped file then click extract here instead of double left click xD

 

ok other help..
1.Scan pc maybe some virus blocking it..
2.Start WinRar as Admi beacuse WinRar save files in system folders and they need admin access
3.Ctrl+Alt+delete -> Process-> turn off "in rar"
4.Try to dawnload on other disck ..C/D/E etc...
5.Maybe you dawnloaded some bocking programs and thats the most horrible for you = disc format

 

i can extract those downgrade files on my desktop, all i did is i copied and pasted them manually on my aion folder, yea is good i can see log in area, but still cant enter on the server says I Cannot enter on the unauthorization server which i know im still in 4.0 patch and not still downgraded. Any idea?

 

You replaced old files with new?
or delate them??
I'f nothing work you have to wait one week when 06.08.2013 server goes 4.0

first i did what smartik said, first set my account setting, then i downloaded the winrar download link. And then i download all downgrade links by smartik, after all since i got error on extracting those files directly on my aion folder, i extracted first on my desktop which is working. Then i copied and pasted one by one manually on their designated folders. All done and still i cant enter from the server. I can log in on log in area but it says, Theres no game server in this anaoutorization bla bla something liek that.

Did you use another .rar program?
