Now... think again... how was your day? Was it worth it getting mad over stupid shit? Or complaining you didn't get to do something.

Yes. People are people, and no matter how much people feel like stuff like this invalidates someones feelings about something, it doesn't. Its human nature for us to get emotional, mad, etc. over something. People should feel happy for this guy no doubt, and there's always someone less fortunate than you are, but that doesn't change the fact that when shit happens, you're going to be at least slightly upset.

The sad fact is, when people think too much about who has worse issues, they're just going to end up bitter and depressing to be around.

    Great.
But his life does not factor in mine, my issues do factor in my daily life. Is not a good reference point.

    You're obviously missing the point.

What I was trying to say is that some things are not worth being mad over. When you get mad at something not really important, remind yourself of that person in the video. Remind yourself it can always be much worse. Then think again if you should be mad.

Learn how to appreciate what you have. How to be happy about it.

I am not missing the point, you are too focused in yours.
I do know and understand that his life is crap, and that most likely my issues are none next to his. But again, his life does not factor in mine. Whereas I can be empathic enough to walk his shoes, those are not mine. My appreciation of what I have, is measured in the life I have lived, not in the one I could live; I can´t spend my waking hours thinking of that, is not practical.

My issues have an imperative that is only acknowledged by me, same as everyone else. Of course the determination of the level of my emotion to a given event, can be exaggerated or not by my experience and personality, and not by comparing to another person.

Still the message is valuable, but as perspective, not fact.

I knew what i was watching, i knew what to expect...yet at every 10 seconds i was waiting for them to tell him it's a prank, to rob and rape him....why?
Like the look he gives him at 1:53, that's pure rape and murder in his eyes, thinking to himself "man i'm gonna get me some dried fruit fer dinner"

I'm happy for that homeless guy. He's very lucky that someone actually gave him shelter, cloths, food pretty much all the basic human needs for a few days lol@the end i thought the video was just a huge tease LOL give him everything for a few days and then hes back to doing w/e hes doing.

Tbh I do get mad once in a while over stupid things sometimes... but i do not make such a big deal out of it. Lucent is right it's normal for a human to get emotional , mad, etc. I cannot compare my life with someone like that. Everyone has different perspective in life. You will experience good and bad moments at some point of your life. And its normal for a person to react and feel to these kinds of things.

The blond guy who is helping the poor guy is so cute.

But to give my opinion about the video , uhm ;/  ...I feel bad that i watched that because the hope i seen in that poor man's eyes ...the many "thanks" he offered to the ones who helped him...I know that look..he thought he finally has the oportunity to get his life somewhere...to move on...just like in the car when they asked him what was he good at ...and the man started to state "mechanics...electricity" iada iada.

In the end all we got to see is that the poor guy got everything a human need...but was it worth it at all the waste? Did he got a job? could he go over the crap life he is living? or he simply just went back to the crap life ...which is the most probably thing that happened.

So now what...it gave him a reason to think about how his life is and how much he missing all the human needs.

Not to make it any longer , in a short ideea : if you willing to help a person, help it untill the end so it gets on his/her feets , or don't help it at all...dont create hopes that could hurt that person later thinking to the possibilites they could do but they don't have the power to achieve that / reach there.

Oh cool, I feel happy for that man.

Just, I hate the fact how they ask him every 5 minutes: How're you feeling now? It feels like they are reproaching him or whatever.

Exactly guga! It's exactly what i also tried to state.
They just give him reasons to think about it more when it's all over.
