Start from Scratch

OK! I found a lot of posts from Admin Alente telling everyone that the problem about "no authorization server is available...." for windows 8 users is already fixed. Just simply run the Gamez launcher and update it and you're set to go.

Now I'm on Win8 and my prob was not the no authorization server. My problem was about gamez launcher crashing. "Aion Gameclient has stopped working", every time I open my GAMEZaion launcher. I was so pissed off and tired of soooooo many suggestion I read from sooooo many threads. I've erased some things, run some things, updated some things, copied some things and messed up everything. So I decided to erase everything and start from scratch.

Now I am waiting for everything to finish so that I can download the Gamezaion launcher. I'm just wondering if:

1. Do I need to apply the win8fix that Smartik gave during the 3.7 version of Gamez?
2. Do I still need the item.pak? If yes, what version to use?

1) No you don't need to apply a 3.7 Win8 fix, it wont work for starters and we'll just override it anyway with the 4.0 version when you run the GamezAion launcher.
2) Yes, once you've finished downloading/installing the game you can grab it from here. Preferably the Compressed version unless you're one of the few people that doesn't work for.
