PLease help me elaborate further the true meaning of Multi-voting

i read from the forum about multi-voting. im reli confused about it. please help me understand.

Think of a net cafe. Multiple computers, right? Basically, a person makes an account for every computer in the cafe. Then, he proceeds to vote on each and every account. Then, he gets vip, buys items, trades them all to his main account, and trades them for items ingame.

I could be wrong, this is just what I've heard from other people.

Not necessarily. So long as you don't break any rules I don't see a problem with it.

Anything more on the "rules" would have to be clarified by a gm.

 

Sir Curly, wat if i wanna share something bad here, would the staff trace my account and ban it eventually? just asking , i just to make things clear, ^^, honesty is a virtue to me really as long as my life is not at stake ^_^. this is just a game anyway. but i love it. so i just want to know things well.

you can vote freely as you want. but if you've done multivoting it is punishable. voting in a cafe is not prohibited unless you vote many times which is can't be done these days . so there is no problem with what you are doing

 

you already understand what it means. all you need is a story:

before the change of the voting system. i vote in a net cafe togetheer with my shopmates, then eventually... "your accout has been banned, please check the damned site for more info or whatsoever."

 

Good Day: As far as i know playing in a netcafe, not all players can vote. Means for that first come first serve to vote when playing in net cafe. Players from net cafe are using this so called program Hot Spot Shield so that every player in that cafe can vote. If this is illegal, now is the time mods should trace this one.

 

As lordculryfry said, think of net cafe where there are many computers and many players playing gamezaion, then all these people vote for credits, it is considered by the server multi-voting because they set it to recognize the IP of the ISP and not the MAC address/IP address of each PC in a netcafe or another example is where 1 player has multiple accounts all voting for credits( no difference with many players having only 1 account per player all voting) and then using clear browser history to simultaneously vote for multiple account

this is multi-voting and the only way gamez can control it is by setting the voting system to detect the IP of the ISP and not the player account/IP/Mac address of a PC, any means to bypass IP of ISP will be considered multi-voting

there is a advisory where use of hotspot shield will be also considered muti-voting and will be banned

the only solution to this is to vote on other net cafe that no one is voting for gamezaion, to have own internet via mobile devices such as tablet to vote or in netcafe scenario where players are schedule to vote

1 ISP IP to 1 PC/1 Player/Many Accounts Voting +clear Browsing history = Multi-voting
1 ISP IP to 1 PC/Many Accounts/Many Player Voting +clear browsing history = Multi-voting
1 ISP IP to 1 Mobile Device(tablet,laptop with internet) many Account/Many player voting = multi-voting

1 ISP IP to Many PC/1 account/1 Player Voting = Not Multi-voting
1 ISP IP to 1 PC/1 account/1 Player Voting = definitely not Multi-voting
1 ISP IP to 1 Mobile Device(tablet,laptop with internet) 1 player voting = not Multi-voting

 

Ways of multivoting
-Changing your IP Address by using a proxy to vote
-Clearing your browsing data
-Voting 2 or more accounts using other browsers (dont know if this counts)
-Using many multiple mobile devices (handy) to vote, connecting via wifi

 

It's when you make shadow clones and disguise them to go to different voting districts to get more votes for the cadidates of your choice.
