Annoying lag while pointing on items

My client is lagging when i point or armors or weapons, the lag is sometimes tiny but as it goes it gets worse to the point that it lags for 2 whole second every time i point on an item either in my inventory/warehouse or on my skillbars. A temporary solution is to restart my PC but it still doesnt help much because when i first login in game i can feel that it is a bit laggy when i point on items, as i stay online for a few hours it gets a lot worse.

This is seems to have started a few days ago, before that i would just feel that tiny lag every time i pointed on an item and that was just it, now its escalating.. dafuq.

Is there any solution for this? Could this have something to do with the amount of screen shots in my aion folder?

 

I don't think it has to do with the amount of SS you have in your Aion folder. However, you could try repair your client via the NCsoft Launcher which usually solves most of the problems. Also you should connect to Gamez Aion via the Gamez Launcher.

 

Same here, its extremely annoying for me when moving items in inventory/to-from warehouse, i cant even move item which i want bcoz of that lag, need to wait few sec, or i pick other item...

 

yes when u point a bit with the mouse on the intem it takes like around 1sec untill the armor options appear.
Im glad to see Im not the only one with that small issue...I didnt found it really bothering but if you are in fight and want to change between weapons can represent a problem

 

Welcome to the Aion 4.0 User Interface. It is NCsoft's fault, the interface is causing the minor skips and lags you're experiencing. Simply opening the Options Menu or hovering over items presents these problems that were previously non-existent. I don't know if there's any permanent fix but a temporary thing would be avoid dual clienting and/or avoid keeping the client opened for extended amount of hours.

 

Yeah it's the new UI... on retail it lags about the same, people simply love it xD

 

As i read in retail forums a small fix would be to always be in the 3rd tab of the item options, the tab that does not display stats. That way we can lessen the lag a bit but then again that tab is kind of useless since u cant see the stats of the item >.> Its good for moving items though.

 

I was actually watching some retail videos the other day and the guy was showing his gear with uh 1st or 2nd tab. He had no lag at all.

Dunno, but I agree it's a bit annoying ._.

This is also happening on retail they have yet to fix it and doubt they will any-time soon just because it doesn't cause much of a problem unless your out pvp'ing then see an LFG post that catches your attention (armor/weapon), so you click on it while your pvp'ing scroll over to compare stats, and die in a fight you were winning because of the lag that musters when you check/hover over gear, (Yes this has happened to me q.q).
