Delete Folders Patch, L10N, DATA, bin32, and bin64. Repair it afterwards it will update. DO NOT STOP THE UPDATE. it is my conclusion that this problem occurs when people cancel the update cause they thought it got stuck on the 50+%. its not stuck. theres a small button there that will let u see the Kbps. its just taking a while cause the files are large.
I hope it works on u.

I deleted only the $Patch$ folder -tried to update again - it went to 60% so I left it overnight - next morning it was 63% so i tried closing it and updating again - got the error again...

I will try your suggestion disk82000!

If that doesnt do it then I'll follow Guiillehs advice and install it from scratch by uninstalling it completely and then reinstall the whole game! That is what you meant by from scratch right Guiilleh?

    Thanks!

Tried everything except uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch!

I really didnt want to reinstall from the beginning as it is such a waste that I already have most of the game installed, and it will take alot of time.

The only thing I am afraid of is if I install it all over and then still get the same problem. I think I may have read from someone else that they tried reinstalling from scratch but still got the same error!

Why doesnt NCSOFT fix their %&^*#$#!@>.<' ! updater?!?!

took a long time 3-4 days i think..
so just have patience and wait till its completely updated before you install and dont turn it off till its finished updating!!!
