Can't Join a Server

Hey there,

i downloaded this client today. It worked all fine for me and i could start the game as usual.
The only problem i am having now is, that i try to join the server, and nothing happens. The sequenze in background is still running but i wont be logged in to the server. Tried it with both Servers available here and it didnt work.

You are not using gamesforge or something else, just pure Aion client + proper installed gamez-launcher?

 

I really did all you said ^^ i have the normal Aion installed and just installed the launcher inside the AIon folder.
It checks all files and there are no problems so far. Now i log in and have to chose a server. But when i do that nothing happens at all.
Not even an error message or something like that

 

Well I get your problem pretty randomly too, but restarting my client normally fixes things xD

 

The first time I log in, i get the error: "you are already logged in (7)" and then the second try it logs me in and i can choose the server. Then it shows me that the Server "Lumiel" is the best for me and i tell him to connect me. Then nothing happens even after 20 tries.
I would really like to play here on this server tho

If you don't get an error message is possible you are using the GameForge client, which is not supported by GamezAion, you need to download the NA client using the NCsoft Launcher. Here it is

 

Im just trying to do that. Downloaded the client and tried to put in the AION version in the download folder that i already have. The german one but it does not work. Have to download the latest version what seems to be version 10 now. Through the night the downbload should be done andill try starting the game after that as well. Do i need to play on NA Servers on the Private Server as well then? Because im sitting in Germany and my ms would be terrible i think. Would be good to know if i can use the German game and servers anyhow or not.

Nope, you gotta use the NA client all the way and you better chose Siel instead of Lumiel haha xD
Your ping prolly gonna be so-so ok, I'm from Germany too and I got like 110-140ms (using WTFast though)

if I install the new version now, I will need to play on NA server do I ? Just to get it clear ^^
and what is WTFast btw :O ?

Yes, the servers (both Lumiel and Siel) are located in Chicago... you don't have much of a choice ^^
WTFast is a tool to reduce your ping specialized on MMORPGs xD

Well thx man Only question left is, I deleted the German AION from the NA Launcher now. Somehow i managed to get the folders NCWest and NCSoft. In one folder i have NCWest i have the folder NCLauncher and inside that i have $patch$ and all the stuff like it looks in the german one. And in the folder NCSoft, i only got $patch$ (patch 4 inside) and one symbol + .exe. What do i do now? Is the Launcher just a different folder than the game being downloaded?

I have one last question. When i install the NA Launcher i get two folders: NCWest and NCSoft,
is that correct? I don't know if thats the way it has to be but I just installes evreything regularly
without any fancy stuff. Hope its the right way so i can download the game over night

Yeah, you will have 2 folders: NCWest and NCSoft
NCWest is just for the new launcher.
NCSoft will be the regular game folder... so also the place where you got to install the gamzaion-launcher into.
