Congratulations and Sad Good Byes

Yes well gratz to all...Its sad to see ams go because well to be honest there is absolutely no reason to be playing gamez right now...you can log in and hope for an event but with only 1 am the chances of that are slim to none. The pvp isnt worth two shits and players that attempt to change pvp in turn get zerged 60 v 1. I can't see myself staying here much longer either unless things change ...Carl needs to stop focusing on bringing new 4.0 updates for a while and focus on what the players want DECENT PVP ..this is a pvp server and there is none to be had. We need portals the the eye back , Safe zones need to be removed from katalam completely if this is done there's no reason to pvp in katalam its a shitty map to begin with...Gamez is loosing its good players by the handfuls daily and its sad to see.

4.0 came way too early, caused lots of old people to leave and also killed lots of motivation of the (ex-) AMs - answering the same stupid questions day after day after day without any help or bugfixes anywhere in sight in the near future...

No one with some dignity would have made it thorugh that for long... and sorry to say that, but SAMs, HAMs and Admins were especially inactive in the weeks right after the update... they were hyped and active first 1-2 days and after that quickly made sure to dodge all the bullshit and let the AM / AMTs handle the annoying questions... they are just lucky to already occupy a comfortable position where being inactive for some time or having another point of view how to handle things won't get you kicked from the staff right away.

But yeah, luckily there are always lots of new applicants to burn out xD

Our glorious higher ups sure do know how to burn people out lol...of staff and from the server. To meanz and guga you guys started out as great amts you threw events answered question looked at hack videos you did a 100% in my book. The lack of communication and just plain uncaring of the others and the less educated of the server players broke your resolve and it was plain to see in your attitudes as time went on good luck to you both.

 

Gamez has a unique opportunity with the players already embedded into the server, to quit focusing so much on the money, donations, and other things NOT PVP, and provide an amazing experience for all. Sadly, all that has been taken into consideration seems to be the negative connotations that go along with updating a pserver. However, these accusations and complaints are not far off, if not spot on. Katalam pvp is encourages weaker levels of pvp, therefor a weaker drive to be a more efficient player, resulting in a lack of interest in the server. This is not a death sentence for GamezAion, but a wake up call. And the longer it continues to pursue less ambitious goals, it will quickly fade. Whether or not Admin CARES, players like myself DO, and are willing to give it a chance to come back.

Some players keep hoping they start to care again, hopefully 4.0 makes carl realize that he needs to change his tactics if he wants Gamez to survive.

lol yes danaria pvp is soooo much better lol. Also add as many players to lumiel as there is on siel and you have the same shit.

Actually, you would be surprised to know just what was being handled by S.AM's, Myself, and Vildiil, and or Carl and Alente.

Then again, you probably only think about what you can see visibly correct?

However, that non-withstanding the point that I was on, for the greater part of that week. Though for reasons I do not feel like discussing with people who seem to think that everyone of a color above Yellow, or Blue had been inactive. S.AM's had to pick up what I was working on, as well as making sure to investigate new bugs to a further extent.

Or would you like them not to get fixed and or enough information other than 'this is bug' 'that is bug' 'oh its all bug' being given to the devs to simply have to try and figure out what is not working correctly? Yes, we were all inactive. Right, you sure know your stuff huh?

Burn people out? In fact, we don't burn people out. Uncaring, hmmm no not true. Then again you also do not know much about how things work.

As for calling people uneducated in the server? What? Because not everyone speaks fluent english and not everyone knows just what to put into google and or what information is correct or not? Or is it because you think you know everything about everything and about how things work.

Not really sure what you are saying calling people uneducated but it is not needed.

As I have said in my OP. I am sure that the ones who are leaving due to real life reasons would rather put aside such things to be here, though for most of them as I have discussed their resignations with them all personally and did attempt to find some solution to allow them to stay with us if they choose to. Sadly, though not sadly, they have all chosen a path that will further themselves along in the world.

That, and that alone makes me happy to see them go. They can grow and become better people, and have this experience as staff members for a community that can be rather harsh and ignorant of things or just plain think they know everything to look back upon. Perhaps even from the time they spent here they have learned something about how to handle a difficult situation with another person. Maybe they have increased their ability to communicate or have gotten over being a little shy.

Who knows really; though all I do know is that comments such as these two from people who really do not know what it is that S.AM's / H.AM's / Admins do; and or what we deal with and or even the AM / AMT have to do and or deal with (and it is not just oh throw events here and there, much despite what you in the community think) are rather sad.

So! Anyway! <3 This thread was fun wasn't it now.
