Help Updating Aion from 2.5 to 3.5!

ok, ill get it started.. please help me!

i just downloaded the client from --> Downloadable Client: Aion v2.5 Empyrean Calling Client - Demo Movie Patch Download Section

and im having the 3 patches yet that i just found in Google.

Patch 1: Aion_Main_2.5.0.0To2.7.0.2.rar
Patch 2: Aion_Main_2.7.0.2To3.0.0.0.rar
Patch 3: Aion_Main_3.0.0.0To3.5.0.0.rar
Patch 4: "Still searching for 3.5 to 4.0 yet, but nothing found "

i wonder why the patches are in ".rar" extension?? it should be like ".ncpatch" right?? but i can change it to .ncpatchextension :biggrin: when i open the Patch in Winrar, all files are in ".X-D-E-L-T-A" extension. "For Example: aion.bin.X-D-E-L-T-A" because i think it should be Aion_Main_2.5.0.0To2.7.0.2.ncpatch not Aion_Main_2.5.0.0To2.7.0.2.rar how can i apply this patch?? im sooo Behind of the Game. :biggrin:

after Launching the NCsoft Launcher, it says that a New Update of NCsoft Launcher will apply. so i click the "Update" and then Update is Applied, Launcher Closes, and then its Open with the Updated Launcher... but my problem is.. why its taking soo long?? i think its redownloading the Game again. at New Launcher, im Still stuck @ 12% Update.. i though it will only update the Launcher. but 24hours seriously?? still 12%? help me please :sad:

how can i update my Aion 2.5 Client to 3.5 using those 3 Patches above i've downloaded before going to 4.0?? :sad:

 

It is redownloading the game.

Bascially it will download 54 gigs, to which one it is finished you should go and delete the $patch$ folder.

You really cannot update the game manually that I am aware of...best bet just let NCSoft re-download the game.

The only way you could use those .patch files (Aion_Main_2.5.0.0To2.7.0.2.PATCH, etc) was with the OLD NCsoft Launcher, which no longer exists; you could put those files inside your Aion folder, click Repair, and it would "patch" your client, but yea, doesn't work anymore.

The new NCsoft Launcher uses a torrent system, download .rar files, and after the download is completed, it decompress them, leaving a $Patch$ folder full of useless .rar files which you can delete without any problem afterwards.

it means i need to Download another 50Gb from NCLauncher and its just a waste because you will still delete it?

fck internet i only have 3mbps :sad:
