Resist Resist Resist...?

I'm confused I'm currently trying out, song weaver with full governor gear and full shepherd magic access with governor harp + hac fuse and full ma/mb on every single piece meaning full ma.

2627 ma.

now when I fight some clerics/chanters & templars I amuse full MR around 50% of my skills get resisted and I can rarely silence them for some reason (with my silence skill) the skill hit's but it never gives the silence effects.

I just think that is quiet odd for 2627 ma.

I been asking some friends and they tell me because they are 'full mr' yes I understand that but I'm also full MA so there MR shouldn't really effect me right?

how much mr do clerics/chanter reach these days with new gear/access? it seems like they are 3000 MR or something.

Any thoughts?

cause apparently with the best gear/access and weapon with best fuse + ma food + ma candy and full ma/mb duo stones still isn't enough to hit those full MR players.

I still believe they shouldn't be able to resist my ma (atleast not 50% of my skills) :3

Who knows maybe bard's ma coding isn't 100% correct. (death aka aplha) claims he is full MR meaning no ma parts and I have seen him kill full mr cleric/chanters without getting his skills resisted so that means he is less then 2200-2300 ma I would imagine? Yet I'm almost 2700 ma just seems very odd.

I'l try full ma on my SM and compare the resisting rate to my bard.

 

Maybe, your enemy/target used an anti-skill, like evasions. They will be resisted.

 

I didn't think chanter/clerics/temp has evasion skills like ranger/sin/gunner.

Talking about chanter/clerics & temps here - Not complaining about all not all can resist me only those full MR with good gears.

 

Chant and temp has anti-vulneravbility skills, I just forgot their description.

 

Would only be 12% to resist.

..then again temps have AA which can get em to 3.2k or possibly more and clerics had storm of aion or something that reduced the target's MA

 

My sm has 2600 macc, and i dont seem to have the same problem as u do with mres clerics, only the temps i have probs with. so i assume its the skills base own macc that isnt coded in yet, maybe.

 

Yeah I was thinking that I rarely get resisted on my sm with like 2400 ma but with bard I seem to get resisted way more while playing bard even tho I'm almost 2700 ma not sure if the ma code is 100% correct with bard.

 

well my bro has a bard with almost similar stats he gets resists alot, so it could be the skills dont have the right amount of macc added to them... or something i dont know i dont code aion, i did Eudemons but i suppose the principle is the same.

 

well what can i say.. Im like 2.7k mr, and sometimes i get like full resist to everything.. but then in one moment i get locked so hard... unstable the stats atm... shake shake shake

well I suppose it's easier for SM's to kill templar due to the fact they can easily debuff most of there buffs including there aether or what ever I think, as for bard yes we got a debuff but only removes 2 buff and aether is rarely a 2nd buff.

Speaking of SMs and Resist. SM's Dispells cannot be resisted at all. They even bypass spell dodging skills like Aethertwisting. Just putting it out there so people don't mistaken it.

 

I think they are refering to how i can hit a full mr governor set chanter while im in full mr myself XD.

Who says they don't already do that? Unless it's some crap sm in lvl 40 whities they'll shove all their debuffs in your face even with 90k mr
