Crafting Yes or No ?!

HY all , since u can transf thru account wh the stuff u get while lvling , is there a ``need`` to start crafting pots / atk spd / running scrolls for ur toon ? I asked this question thru server , none said yes or no , a dilema ? So is it worth crafting these stuff even if u can get them by making 50 chars and get full ?! Ty in advance for ur convincing answer

Took me a while to understand what you meant, but, here we go.. I craft pots/scrolls but I don't sell them at all, I craft them for myself since I play on 6 diff toons, so I guess that's a way to save kinah ;p and trust me, I saved a lot .. Used to spend like 1b on pots and such.

 

I have my girlfriend make them for me.

Ic , since u did not understand my question , imma tell u simple : u make a char u lvl a bit = u get pots / running /atck scrols wich u send them to ur main toon. U do 50 chars = a load of pots and scrols and u dont need to craft them and spend h of crafting and Money . So my question goes like : craft or make chars and get a load of them ! Ty for ur reply as well

sadly you can only get atkspd and running scrolls thru surveys but the pots arent good so having a crafting skill alchemy would help you

 

Aha , ye as the pots its Fine Recovery Serum = 2 k hp , 1.7 Mp if i still rem ! And as for scrols its good id say !

 

if you are talking about lvling toons to get the survey rewards. here is what i can say.

things you can transfer from other toons:
1. Greater running scrolls
2. greater Courage Scrolls
3. Greater Raging wind Scrolls.

all these scrolls that you get from the surver are very useful. it lets you go on with out crafting the scrolls mentioned above.

things that are better to craft/buy:
1. Potions (sublime recovery potion
2. craft Major Crit strike Scroll / major crit spell scroll
3. craft foods/drinks
4. buy abyss pots
5. craft Greater healing potion( removes 2 debuffs)
6. craft major Strike resist scrolls / major spell resist scrolls
7. this is optional. you can craft elemental resist scrolls if you want.

the items stated above are the one that is better than the ones you get from the surveys,

the abyss pots can be purchased with abyss points in certain NPCs in Cloister of Kaisinel/Convent of Marchutan, Abyss, Inggisson/Gelkmaros, Sarpan, Katalam

for the foods. i depends on the stat you prefer to have.
for my Magic damage classes, i craft Sky Dragon Emperor's Savory Food - Aion Item - aiondatabase.com
for my Physical Damage Classes, i Craft Innesi Herb Dumpling - Aion Item - aiondatabase.com

for the drinks i just farm Fine Rally Serum from mobs in balaruea and above.

P.S: some people probably already know about some of the info i gave in this post. but it is also for the newbies in the server.

doing a crafting profession is not only rewarding but enjoying and it kills the boredom u get when u spend too much time in pvp.

I'm just starting to craft in 4.0, i still had left some old crafts u nab

 

the only important craftable items that you could get on surveys are running, courage and flight speed scrolls, others are just minor, insignificant add-ons other than medals,tokens etc so yes you still have to craft.

if you are planning on crafting i might give you a heads up since it will consume a lot of your time or just trade some decent items for consumables, its all up to you.

just craft crit scrolls, resist, food and potions that you think preferable for your toon because you'll get tons of running and courage(especially this)along the way.
