was buying woc2 a mistake?

so i haven't played aion in a couple of months and mostly voted so i would have some credits for the xmass shop.
since i remembered woc2 was a very valuable item that only appeared on the xmass shop i bought it hoping to trade it after the xmass shop was over for a good set like ambassador set or something, but from what ive seen people aren't really interested in woc2 as they used to be and most of them only want to buy it for like 5k credits (which is even cheaper then the price in the shop).
so should i have just kept my 6k credits and kept on voting or have i just been having bad luck and only met greedy people?

 

I suppose time will tell if the item's market price will be back to usual. Though I see you play Sorcerer, if I were you I would value a pair of WoC L2 much more than an armor set (for personal usage that is)

 

oh actually i already have woc2, i just bought an extra one to trade it for a profit after the xmass shop would stop

btw would u say i should wait for a while before selling the extra woc2 in hope the prices go up again? because im kinda afraid prices would go even lower cause the more time that passes more people will have woc2

Hi Hillel. Loor here.. I'm also having a hard time trading my Woc2 for 3.5 credits and HAC cloth Everyone has WOC2 and they are more interested to take my arbiter orb than my woc2. lol. Hope all is well with you.

sucks about you also having trouble trading your woc2 but we should try to be optimistic and hope that prices are at their lowest now since many people just got it in the xmass shop.
since woc2 for 3.5k + hac set seems like a really good deal im sure that many people will want to trade with you, just gotta wait a little while longer for the xmass frenzy to pass...

 

I think WoC Lv2 is the most valuable item, in my opinion. Just saying. It's the only item that gets you to cap attack speed and fast animations. Saves scrolls, saves time. all you gotta do is condition hehe. welp, prices will increase again for WoC Lv2, people will want them, there will be no other item that gives them cap attack speed like WoC Lv2

 

I wish they'd let you condition your wings with the stones bought from the GG merchant for lv65s, pretty annoying that I have to go back to sanctum each time.

Just traded mine for 8k credits just after they were gone from the event shop. Just keep your hopes up and i'll say don't trade it below 7k credits.
I know many have gotten their hands on WOC2 but NOT too many people or should i say the whole community had the chance to buy it on the shop, my guess is like 20% bought it out of 100% of the whole community?. Just wait for the right person to buy that thing of yours, you'll see.

 

Woc2 is still the single best item in the game. It is true that it is not as uncommon as it used to be, and people value their arbiter items more than woc2, but what do those traders know anyway? When have market prices been reasonable? Can anyone tell us why an arbiter set costs 2 ambassador sets + woc2? Or why 3.5k credits cost a full hac gear (mind you, hac is better than ambassador at least for me)? Nothing makes sense here, so just LFG your trade and be patient because eventually you ll find a reasonable trade.

In gamezaion people think that their single arbiter weapon can buy them gears, rofl. They really have no idea how to market and they just hope to make profit out of - same items = same items + add. That's the mentality here ( i mean there is no mentality lol ).

So yea, just keep and treasure your woc2 because its still more useful than a governor set.

Simply true, soon hac set will be worth one shepherd weapon, even though it costs 12,5k VIP (i know, noone even bought HAC last few months, there are sooo many on the server). I Bought WOC2 for my saved credits, and I dont plan to sell it... atleast unless the price of it is so low... coz of the arbiter hype. Arbiter wep = 2 shepherd weps (like WTF ? 6k VIP for 3,5k VIP ?)

 

People here also think that 1 two handed arbiter weapon = 2 one handed arbiter weapons ...lol the "mentality"

 

yeah its been really annoying trying to trade with people in the server who just seemed immune to logic.
