Overpowered Gunners.

Don't know if this has been posted but i think Admins have problems about gunners damage... Okay, lets start.

At first i logged in to different AION games (Not to mention what their are) and their all 4.0 servers. I tried creating gunner, Test every character vs gunner, and watched gunner's damages and calculates all of them. What i found is damage between Gamez server and the other servers are not the same. In other servers i equip HAC weapons and HAC set for Gunner and also HAC weapon and HAC sets for every character i tested and all of them has manasastones socketed, (Manastones that is realy for that class).

First Templar VS Gunner.
I used all the buffs of templar and all buffs of gunner and i started hitting the templar using the gunner and it was too hard to kill the templar. Damage is very low and its like an ant.

Gladiator VS Gunner,
Still the same.

Ranger VS Gunner,
A draw fight.

Sorc VS Gunner
Draw. The same damage

SM VS Gunner,
Gunner looses.

I calculated every damage and compared them to the gamez server damage. And i found out that every skill of gunner in gamez is quite heavy and very hard. HAC weapons and HAC sets can get critical of only 3-5ks in other servers but here in gamez, a Gunner with only GPP set and GPP weapons can get critical of up to 8k, Even if the godstones are Silence and Blind:bandit:<<<< What a guy...


All i need is for you admins to fix this, but im not saying your not doing your responsibility cause i think youll bann my furom account XD (Not too sure if youll bann me) But i just wanted a fair fight in here.

Can you provide some proofs about what you are saying?

If you provide proofs and prove that the dmg formula for gunners is broken here in gamez then they should probably take look at it. But then again i think gunners here are just overgeared with 1% godstones, and that's the reason why they seem overpowered. Against governor users they cant do much really

 

because your a templar and a pro one, does mean your saying that gunners are weaklings ^_^ XD

 

Gears aside, for a fairer comparison, the stats need to be the same too. This means same PvP Def, Same PvP Atk, Same Magic Boost, Same Magic Suppression. You could help them by posting those figures.

Also Gamez has yet to implement the reduced PvP formula used on Retail Aion. Therefore it is a bit hard to compare the damage between each other. Gamez is running the old PvP defense formula whilst retail is running the post 4.0 PvP formula.

this guy hate gunner class for sure and alot....where are the proofs like badrobot says above?you must be an admin on other server to can equip all kind of chars with best gear just to can test things....i think you hate gunner class so much cuze your mind tell me this......but you like this gamez server,you cant let him...and play other class then gunner and you are affected so much by gunners...and you start to hate gunner class so much....and you create a conspiracy theoria about this wtf man......

 

Aside from there damage which honestly isn't a big deal for me damage ain't everything'.

I also notice there 'stun' skill has the ability to stun through my Remove shock buff while it's active and even after they stun me I'll use my RS which works however my character still remains in 'stun' state most the time so I basically get killed and this happens almost 100% time they use the stun skill.

I'm not sure if this is bug I amuse it is a bug because if it isn't then that's ridiculously OP and advantage over all the other classes if they can stun through remove shock which almost 100% rate.

 

@Jensen this is not a bug - with fine timing of skills (using another stun at the same time the enemy remove shocks) it's possible and in fact a very common Assassin tactic (Ambush into Shadow Fall with a small delay). Retail-like.

Other than that, I feel like AM Akikaze covered the topic pretty well. Our magic damage formula and skill tooltip damage are on point, it is that very PvP reduction that makes the difference.

 

Uh I see yeah was thinking of the sin on how they can do something like that similar.

It's still annoying especially when you fight like 2-3 gunners at once spam stun =\

I swear they can also sometimes stun through my Mvt 1 Spring buff most of the time too =\

Like akikaze said the main reason damage seems high is because gamez implemented all the new gear and classes without increasing the overall server pvp defence. Gunners are not even one of the op classes here. Sm, cleric, templar are the op classes on gamez...word of advic....dont try to tank their dmg buffs they are very short timed and easily avoided.

 

One friend of mine said the damage of gunners on retail are reduced by 20% is it true? and is it implemented on gamez?

i dun think gunner is too op for now...im playing gunner and sometimes temp can easily kill me even skilled glad...and as many say gunner have low defense so pro ranger or asin can wipe out gunner easily..

 

yes they got a pretty high dps but look on the bright side, they're the easiest class to kill so i think they are pretty equilibrate

learning the skill and be the pro, every class can kill gunner but 1 thing i hate is kill general or governor that LVL 60 (hahhahah everyone know who i mean)
