Event idea

So I just had an interesting idea for an event (also possibly a dumb idea)

OKAY SO WHAT IF...
Bare with me for a second...

WHAT IF
You took like 20 people and had them make brand new accounts (theyd still keep their old ones of course, this is just part of the event)

and
They have a month to gear up ONE character of their choosing

and then they give up those accounts and they're put in..let's say a virtual time capsule. Basically the passwords on these accounts are changed (or they're tamp banned) so they're unusable

Then
After a certain predetermined amount of time (3 months, 6 months or a year - preferably after an expansion has come out with new gear or a new level cap) the "time capsule" is opened and accounts are useable again

If done after a new expansion, the "time capsule" serves as a glimpse into the past, showing you how much you were able to accomplish in a month, and how fast you can get the same gear now.


Other options: randomize accounts so people get another persons account and have a completely new experience (hopefully learning a new class)

Or
Randomize accounts and hold a tournament where people have to win on a character they haven't actually used before (could be done instantly instead of as a time capsule thing)

I don't know why I thought of this, but it seems like it'd be an interesting experiment type of event. It also would've been better if I had thought of this years ago.

 

well make account and donp play it for few months xD then play it again xD and you have the event XD

Spend one month gearing up character and then give it up? Someone has too much time on their hands. If to try new chars, there's always free slots to create more.

Though the new basic account part could work for special tournaments so all participants get the same starter gears, potions and blank canvas to even the playing field to be more skill focused without gear handicap.

Thy have issues here giving prices of events after a couple months of happening. Can´t imagine the chaos after 6 months of a year of an event. I mean I can imagine it, but is not pretty.

 

If this event will be published, i will never ever try playing this game again it sucks, your spending one month with a single account then just gave it up freely. OMG. No way, i worked hard for that account and i dont want my name being used by other, PLAGIARISM.
