Can't get into the game.

Crysoundengine.dll not found Duhhh hell?

Okay,so here's the deal.I downloaded the ncsoft launcher from the given link on the website and i installed it just fine.Same with Gamez launcher.I did the downgrade,and tried to play.My launcher updated normally and told me that i could finally play! But then sh*t hit the fan When i try to launch the game,it says that it couldnt locate the crysoundengine.dll (or something?) is missing:S Dunno what's the problem,but it would be awesome if you helped me!

Guys seriously,i really want to play so please,try to solve this.I've spent more than 6 hours trying to fix this.

 

What version is your game right now? Check your version.ini file in your aion folder.

 

Version=4.0.0.19 That's what it says.I'm almost finished re-updating the game so when i finish i will let you know what happens.



Edit: It shows me the steel cavalary log screen when i log from the retail server aion shortcut,so im assuming it's 4.5.So,if i re-download and re-aplly the downgrade,will i be able to play?

 

Reupdate then downgrade again to 4.0.

 

Alright i will update the thread later if i fix it.Thanks for helping.

I got past the cryengine error only to get the failed to initialise game thingy.NCsoft launcher doesnt open so i cant repair... Any ideas?

 

What did you do to the NCsoft launcher lol

When do you get that error? At the login screen or before?

To fix the NCsoft launcher (if you haven't uninstalled it), go to the task manager and kill all the NCsoft processes (they start with "NC"), if that doesn't work just restart your computer. Try running the launcher as Administrator

 

Uh i got past that error too and now when it's about to go to the login screen the client just stops working Damn windows 8 are stupid

I login the game and server with no problems,i create a character and when i press play it says that the aion client has stopped working... Any ideas what's the deal?

Yeah i did,it stops working when im trying to get into atreia

 

Apply the 4.0 map files that are in the downgrade guide (the last 2 .rars in the list, under main downgrade)

 

Seems like it works now,i just cant fly

 

what you mean can't fly? What map you trying to fly in?

 

You can only fly in main cities and or where are aethers in the air, you can't fly everywhere anymore
