Aion Game client stopped working

Hey guys!

I'm new and trying to connect to the server, I've followed the instructions on how to connect page, and i kept getting stuck on the server selection page, after reading some similar problems here i realized i needed to downgrade from 4.5 to 4.0 so i followed this guide http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]-downgrade-4-5-4-0-a-161066/ .. but now my Game crashes right before the login page says "Aion Game client has stopped working" .

is the game 32 bit and my windows 64 bit? lol not sure i'm not very techsavvy

***Update - I put this https://www.mediafire.com/?k3cm2dmb2fdm3hd into my Aion folder and it got me past the login page, I made a character but i can only see the head not the body, and it crashed this time at the map loading picture. After that I repaired my Aion client, then added the main downgrade again as advised in a similar situation, I then re applied that file in the link above.. but did not use the downgrade map files 1 and 2 .. This time I could see my characters whole body! but still crashed at the map loading picture :'(

 

You should repair you client fully and apply the downgrade again sir some files are missing.

 

Make a repair and then Downgrade again as '-Trustsony-' said...

 

I don't get why people try to avoid downloading the map files with that stated

 

^ I did that cause you advised that to someone else with the same problem... I tried the first time with all 3 files anyway ... but that's when my character didn't have a body.

This is what i've tried

1st time - Installed Aion did full update, installed Gamez Aion Launcher - Crashed before login screen

2nd time - Full repair, did full downgrade ( Main + map 1 and 2) , installed Gamez aion - crashed before login page

3rd - Added https://www.mediafire.com/?k3cm2dmb2fdm3hd into Aion folder - Got passed login, but can't see characters body And still crashed but this time on map loading page.

4th- Full repair - Did downgrade but only main, (no maps) because you advised that to someone else with a similar problem . Added https://www.mediafire.com/?k3cm2dmb2fdm3hd - Got passed login , Can see characters whole body .. but Still crashed on map loading screen

 

It was the first bug report I got from the downgrade and was trying with that, he never came back after it anyway

So far everyone has have the need to use the map files, and if you don't apply them to your client, you get an error while loading the character (map to be exact), so they are really needed

When you don't see bodies in-game, only head, it's because your client is missing body files, to fix it you have to repair your client using the NCsoft launcher, and apply the downgrade (needed at the moment)

The error before the login screen, still don't know why, but to fix it you need to use the 4.5.0.0 login screen I uploaded (yes, the second link on your post), it's in the Known Bugs section in the downgrade guide

Try applying the map files once again, that should fix your problem
