Cleric and Gunslinger duo couple looking for a Legion. Hopefully one that uses voice chat and has mature fun players.

We just started the game of Aion yesterday. Hence "but new to Aion"

So I assume the set that we got when we started?

we are level 26 in Pandade and just started in the siel server about 10 minuets ago. So the "set" we are wearing is whatever the game gave us to start with. says something about abyss in the name and it is for level 55. but we are level 26 so i am not sure how we are wearing it.

The legions that use voice chat are likely to be very gear dependent.

 

not true. low/decent gear + voice chat will wreck zergs and people with gear

should state your race and stuff, or look at legion section in forums there are many strong legions out there.

 

Well we are level 65 now, a very nice person named Soulbreak mentored us.

I am Kirova in game and I am a Cleric level 65 Asmodian.
My gf is a Gunslinger. level 65 Asmodian.

again we have mics and TS3/Ventrilo/Skype/ Raidcall/Mumble
We are still NEW to Aion. only just got to 65 and power leveled through it.

we are mature. 20+ year olds.

we did get some gear from quest an from Questionnaire

Legion section in the forum will let you see which are recruiting, which ones are open for newbies and which ones not.
This server is not very newby friendly. Sadly that is not stated anywhere in here. So learning can only be done in the hard way or finding really nice people that will help you in game, like mr. Zakku there.

Some legions do require players to be experienced and with good items in their toons. The ones you get in the questionnaire wont do any good for you.

Some newby friendly legions will post their interest in recruiting in game, you just have to keep an eye in the chat section.

Set is a whole another topic altogether. best sets aren't available in game, only obtainable via real money donations or voting for credits rewards. But now there are more options you can obtain with special in game currency and Abyss point you gain by killing people.

I guess it is time to look into another Private server. So far I have seen many inactive Legions here and the ones that aren't, are like how he^ said basically and that is gear dependent and not noob friendly >.<

Well Asmos are fewer in numbers and most people playing Asmo are decent geared and skilled to begin with... Elyos people prolly lot more newbie friendly since more populated and most new people tend to make an Ely char first xD

 

there is but u need to put a little bit of effort in order to get to know them.


for gear, I would suggest u to vote every 12 hours everyday.in the meantime, keep ur eyes

As far as putting in the effort I have made two characters on two servers an posted Looking for Legion post for both of them. I have about 100+ views in both of them 5+ comments in both of them all telling me that this server is not noob friendly, that a lot of Legions are inactive or finally that Legions want people with Gear/experienced but you can only get gear by voting or donating and voting gives your 50 credits and i think EACH piece of gear is 1500+ so until i can get that gear until only God knows when. As far as experience I am assume they mean experience in PVP/character but the best way to learn that is to be in a Legion that is willing to teach you and roll with you when you need to go out. Experience comes with playing the game an if no Legion is willing to take us noobs in, how do we learn to do dungeons without a guild to guide us. I mean in my gaming experience having a Guild makes the gaming experience so much better and enjoyable.

Sorry got off on a rant there. The point is I put effort into it, posting on the forums, posting in LFG to see if anyone is recruiting. an I never got one answer haha.

Personally they are so focused on people having gear an experience they forget that having Sheer Numbers of people in the Legion is equally beneficial. (especially since learning the character an getting gear will happen over time) but they shy away from noobs early on an forget their potential later an the assets they can be.
