Aions Password Reset

This topic has probably been over a few times all ready but been tryin to figure out solution for past 2 hours. I just recently reinstalled aion to my laptop, everything went ok till I got to the login in screen. What I want to know is how to reset my aion password it keeps askin for usin the new ncsoft launcher they have out. I cant find a option to change it anywhere on the launcher

and by launcher I'm guessing you're using the gamez launcher since that's what you need to play here, right?

 

Yes ty.Tho this might be a dumb question but will that work for the game launcher that ncsoft provide or should I delete and reinstall that one?

I really don't know what you mean. If you have a gamez account and you wanna reset the password from your gamez accout, use the link means sent and then start gamez from the gamez launcher you will get from the gamez website.

if you have a retail account and you wanna reset the password on that retail account, go to the ncsoft website and reset it from there, and start aion with the ncsoft launcher (to play retail). you don't have to download any extra launchers in that case.

 

both the retail version and gamez aion are virtually the same correct?

 

yes, gamez is 4.5 aswell.

it's just that to start gamez you need an extra launcher. no other differences other than that.

 

TY. In that case im going to delete the retail version for gamez. AS for password reset on retail in which I was originally askin about the ncsoft launcher for some odd reason doesn't have one basically renderin the game unplayable. Was tryin to see if there was a way to fix that.

unfortunally yes. I didn't know this separate thing all together nor did I even know about this site. Just randomly came across it today lookin for answers. lol glad I did now

Then reset your password from your ncsoft account. I don't think there's a seperate option for password recovery on the launcher itself.

 

Wait so you actually came to a private aion server to ask how to change your PW on Retail? lmao xD

 

like I said b4 I did not know this was a private server. However ill be switchin to this bc its a lot simplier layout than the one ncsoft provided
