Sets's COmparison

i would like to know if a GCD set is better than a Frealess Skimishers set .. i also would like to know which set offers tanks stats(not from the 2 i mentioned i mean generally)

 

Both sets have their ups and downs. Depends on which character you're using it on. For Aethertech, I'd say GCD is the better choice.

Skirmisher's set for AT doesn't work so well because the Fearless gives MB and Block but the Fearless Chain Glove is Cast Speed. AT need attack speed bonus more than cast speed. While the Fierce Chain gloves gives attack speed, it's only 7% instead of the standard 8%, and doesn't grant bonus MB.

Therefore the GCD set is better choice. You'll get 1 more manastone per piece (5 more total slots), and Chain gloves that gives +8% attack speed.

 

hmmm but the GCD gives Attack and crits when conditioned... AT's doesnt need physical stats needs magiical so i get confused a bit :S or w8 ill check the GCD again

 

GCD gives Attack and MB among other stats when Augmented. GCD also has +MB in its bonus stats. Make sure you're looking at the Chain set.

 

i see... ur kinda right for my AT ill buy this but even with Frealesss with block set and with the handguards with the attac kspeed im pretty used in pvping... anw ur right again. i wanan ask smthing more too... what chain set can be rly tanky at HP/Parry/MR? and at same time usefull in pvp

 

Even if the Fearless gives block, you cannot block on Aethertechs anyways. Only characters with a Shield can Block. Two handed weapons like Cipher Blade can parry for its defensive stat.

Personally I wouldn't recommend a defensive build for Aethertechs, they'll be lacking in numerous lockdown and damage if they cannot land their skills/debuffs. AT's Buffs like Kinetic and Trauma Plate gives them most of their tankiness. If you don't get 3k+ parry or 2.2k+ MR, it essentially won't be as effective anyways. However to get those stats, you'll need to sacrifice a lot of MA/MB hence it is not worthwhile.
