Is this a cool Server?

Hello,
i want to play Aion and have some questions. I would appreciate if you guys would give me some infos about this server.
Questions:
1. Is this a Dead Server?
2. How many players are still playing in this Server?
3. Where is this Server located. Na or Eu?
4. About the Webshop can i buy all End PvP Abyss items through ingame shops?
5. Can i buy also through ingame shops manastones enchantmenstones?
6. How long does it take from LvL 1 to 65?
7. How much Euro does a Full PvP Endgear cost?
8. Which Race is dominating? Elyos or Asmos?

So ye i just want to play Aion for PvP. If u asking me i just want to spent 1-2 days to lvl up... buying my endgear.. and just pvp the sh*t out of this game. thats why i need to know if this is the right server to stay on.

I dont really wanna lvl up my ass and farm all those endgear stuff..

Oh i forgot 1 question. If i would join this Server. Can i be sure that this Server wont close any day? Because i get rid of creating a Char and Stuff just to hear from the Admin that hes gonna shutting down this Server? Is this Server in anyway professional?

2. Depending on which server, Siel or Lumiel. Siel are way more populated than Lumiel. Siel is open stigma(all skills) while lumiel has a stigma system(you choose what skills you'll get)
3. Chicago, idk if they moved it.
4. Yes, you can buy end game pvp stuffs from the toll shop. Yay new donator!
5. Yes, manastones and enchantment stones can be purchased in toll shop too.
6. Idk if you're goin to grind, but if somebody mentors(lvl up boost) it would be faster.
7. I don't know, i never donate and i'll never be
8. In lumiel, asmodians were dominating, not sure in Siel since i don't play there


Gamez has survived for 4yrs, it would be sad if the admins close the server for us

 

I'll give you my honest answers:

1. Is this a Dead Server?
Depends. If you play on Siel, it is very populated. On Lumiel, there are around 80-104 players on each side during the day, 50-80 at night. On Siel, I believe that goes up to 200 on each side during the day. A siel player would have to confirm this.

2. How many players are still playing in this Server?
Enough to be able to play in it and have fun .

3. Where is this Server located. Na or Eu?
Na. It is located in Lansing, Michigan.

4. About the Webshop can i buy all End PvP Abyss items through ingame shops?
Depends on the gear. For the best gear, you would have to either vote or donate for the gear. You don't have to have end gear to be really good.

5. Can i buy also through ingame shops manastones enchantmenstones?
They can easily be farmed. You don't have to donate for them.

6. How long does it take from LvL 1 to 65?
Without mentor, 1-3 days (less than 3-4 hours if you know what you are doing). With mentor, about 1-3 hours or less.

7. How much Euro does a Full PvP Endgear cost?
Around 311.73 Euros if you want:
full arbiter set (best set), full shepherd accessories ( best accessories ), best weapon (NO FUSE - fuse = another 25.37 Euros), Wings of the Circle II (best wings). If you want a title, the best title is worth 18.13 euros. Godstone is another 7.25 Euros.
Total if you want everything:
362.48 Euros

8. Which Race is dominating? Elyos or Asmos?
Not sure about Siel, but on Lumiel, they seem to be balanced lately.

Note: If you donate for everything, you won't be invincible. You still have to know what you are doing, and learn your class very well just like everyone else.

 

i already installed the files from gameforge aion free to play. Do i still need to install the stuff from NCsoft Launcher?

well this server location is penetrating me hard.. i come from europe and i wanted to play an assassin.. this ping thing would screw me... well sound so great except chicago

Yeah, I think most people from EU have 100-300 ping depending on their location/internet speed (this is just an average, some go lower with uber internet connections and some higher with shittier internet connections).

 

Don't use the GameForge client. Install it from NCsoft.

The server is located in Lansing, Michigan, not Chicago. If you have less than 200 ms, playing assassin is doable still. I suggest that you follow a ping guide on the forums.

P.S. If you are gonna play assassin, Lumiel is probably better than you.

Full stigma assassins (Siel) don't gain much, because the top tree doesn't provide much other than Signet Silence, which has a very long cooldown for an assassin skill. Also, that stigma is getting nerfed more and more every time Aion updates, because Magic Suppression keeps increasing.

oh okay... other qestions... if you dont mind... and thanks for the answers so far.
1. is there any assassin from europe with a ping of 120-180 that is any good or really dominating lower ping players?
2. if i had a average ping of 140 because i use leatrix would i really s*ck hard?
3. if i decide myself just to go play on eat/egt armour and endgear weaps.. i would still be able to facepalm others?

 

im from germany, ping around 90 -150 , and i send people to the hell, as long as your ping stays under 250, its okay here.

2. 140 is pretty good compared to most people on the server, actually xD
3. .. depends on who you're fighting.. most of the good players, probably not.

 

You can farm better armors than eat/egt.

 

1) Lumiel is lacking good assassins right now. There are only a couple good assassins that I can think of now: Sakie (just quit about 4 days ago - I believe his ping was around 100), me (ping of 31-50), and I think all the asmo assassins are pretty bad.

2) 140 ms is good enough to do well

3) I used ABG when Gamez first hit 4.0 and I did fine. I now use ACD gear, and I do pretty good imo. You will be fine if you know your class well. I can teach you how to play assassins if you decide to play on Lumiel, Elyos race.

Note: you start with APP gear when you start playing here, which is similar to EGT.

You dont play assassin, you silly. Chanters are not as ping dependent as assassins lol.

I don't think he knows that we start with APP on Gamez.

 

i start with app the yellow abyss items? could you explain me that a bit more? so i join the server im lvl 1 and already wearing lvl 55 abyss stuff?
or is it in my inventory?

 

You start with it being equipped. It does not really matter. You'll hit level 65 pretty quickly and replace that set with a much better one within a week or less.

 

cool... sounds really great i think i gonna join you in this server...
does anyone of you play assassin... is this weaving working correctly here i mean those autoattacks between the skills... and does a 140-160 acerage ping have a negative effect of the weavings?

 

As I mentioned earlier, I play assassin here. Weaving works very well, and your ping won't affect you by much.

I mentioned this earlier, but I will mention it again.

Don't focus on gear too much. Get a decent set, meaning ACD or Blood Mark set (Fierce or Fearless). They are not the best, but they are enough that if you know your class and what to do, you will do really well.

Don't think that it is a pay to win server, but it is like retail. If you donate, you do have a advantage over the rest, just not enough that you will beat everyone else.
