Sorry if I posted this in a wrong section, but can anyone tell me what's better for sorcer --> book or orb?

 

Book. Dont confuse him with to many Informations. all good sorcs i know use a book.

It's like the typical gladiator question "spear or greatsword". Everyone will say "use whatever you like" but everyone just goes for the typical one, which in sorcerer's case, is a tome

 

Then tome do more damage than orb?

 

Usually Tome has more MA and Orb has more MB;

In the same way Tome has a 15m range when Orb is a contact weapon.

But as said above; most sorcerers (not to say all of them) in here go for the tome

 

"Go with tome for PvP, PvE just requires MBoost which most orbs give naturally and with additional stats.

The reason people choose the tome over the orb in PvP is because the more Magic Accuracy AND the auto-attack of the tome count as a magical attack and therefore removes buffs such as Focused Evasion, Aethertwisting, Contract of Resistance etc."

Then Magical Acc it's better at PvP than Magic Boost?

 

Yes, this is because accuracy matters in pvp alot more, "you better land every skill rather than do 10k dmg once a day ... " ^^

What you think it's better for manastone: Magical Acc +16/MB +14 or Ancient Manastone Magical Acc+20?

 

well; ancient manastones only fit in ancient slots and Magical Acc +16/MB +14 fit in the other type of slots.

so if you have ancient slots; fill them with Ancient Manastone Magical Acc+20 and fill the rest with a mix of Magical Acc +16/MB +14 and Magical Boost +28/Magical Acc +8

 

Btw Im not playing sorc, im a gladiator, if i say something wrong guys, feel free to correct me.

But i try to help you. First, the ancient manastones, you cant use on all gear, weapons. If yes there are max. 2 or 3 Slots, not sure now.

and you should go for a ma/mb build, not sure if mr helps something on sorcs at all.

Now I have only two questions:

1. Discordant Spellbook ---> Last plus it's 10?
2. For Gunslinger what manastones are necessary for PvP?

 

so here are your answers:

1)
as you can see it on that picture; the enchantement level of the discordant spellbook can go from 0 to 10; so yes; 10 is the max

2) Gunners would use a mix of MA/MB and MB/MA to get to a magical accuracy of about 2.5k
(well this is how i played mine and it rocked)
