Sorcer or spiritmaster

Hi all , i made this topic cause i was really wondering why spiritmaster only 2 of them on the pvp top ranks and sorcer many of them on the first 10 ranks and same as videos i see 100k view on sorcer pvp while spiritmaster 50k 20k sometimes 3k.
but same time i don't see a single hight rank sorcer in pand or in pvp it's rare while spiritmasters with star officer 4 ranks are filling the place so why is that?outy:

 

Why is what?

People play what they wanna play. Both SMs and Sorcs are good if played to their full potential. It comes down to which character suits your gameplay style better.

 

People seem to think that with all the debuffs SM has and all the dots and stuff they're gonna be more effective, which might even be true, because a SM with decent gear and good skills is quite hard to kill these days if you don't know what you're doing.

It's just a matter of preference. I switched from sorcerer to my old class, gladiator, because I felt like since I don't have decent gear and I only have ABG, I could be a little more effective with that and die.. less fast. It just looks like for some reason sorcerers aren't the number one choice anymore, and they might have gotten replaced by the new classes, with the top one being songweaver (since it's basically a sorcerer with heals) and so on.

There's more possibilities.

 

Well idk am SM with acd gear those gear you get with abyss point and i got total kills since i started 523. i don't think SM weak but same time how the hell sorcer is on top list of PvP ranks while i barely see any sorcer in pvp when i do it's easily to kill after you got silence and root on him.

 

if you can't handle alot of handicaps/whining/rage/hate don't play spiritmaster
sorcs on the other hand you can do whatever you want and nobody cares even it's bad or good XD

edit: if your talking about the the website pvp rankings, it's determined by kills not ap

 

Well yes and btw i stopped playing with fear people QQ about it now i lost from full donators and they even call me nub LOL i be like w.d.f and when i use fear and win u start raging and calling me nub too but sorcer spams sleep i can use hypnosis and still call me nub

 

What you want to do is play SM. Make sure you get all the best Fear spells. Don't really focus on anything else. When you see an enemy fear them. And while they are feared, jump around and maybe even do /dance or something silly. When the fear wears off, rinse, and repeat. Try and keep them locked down from the fear as long a possible to maximize the pwnage. After you keep them feared for about 10 minutes. (Good SMs can rotate their fears to keep people locked down for as long as they want) then finally start doing damage. What this does is nail the point home that YOU are the dominant one, and that not only are you able to kill them but you can do pretty much anything you want to do to them. This will humiliate them completely and make them so enraged that they will quit Aion, take their computer, throw it out a window, and smash everything with a bat or hammer. If they rage at you either in game, or on forums, then you're doing it right.

And that's how you win Aion!

you want to know who is better sm or sorcerer

 

i realized sorcer and sm both got good advantges and bad ones but still idk which one is most domination in 1 vs 1 as sm all i do is counting on my damge per sec and throw some instant damge that kills incase it's assassins or templar or cleric w/e can remove those bad effects i know at this moment that i lost the 1 vs 1 but as sorcer he just some times insta kill if it crits so i got confused maybe that's why sorcer are in top list pvpers and sm not.

 

In a 1 v 1 fight an sm will win every time unless the sorc gets some lucky godstone procs. An Sm is going to be a better class to have in group pvp 1 because its easier to heal and 2 for support buffs and fears. Now for kill count a sorc is going to be able to get kills easier just for the fact that sm has to lead into their dps(set it up) while sorc really doesnt have to.

 

Hmm i actually all this time playing sm and never used fear idk if i should keep in it. and upgrade it's gear or i should switch sorcer i think if i played with fear and hypnosis it will be a new differnet world of fun , while same time sorcer is like instant killer.

 

well if you want both try songweaver has debuffs then nukes and sleep with both HP and MP recovery skills
only thing preventing me from using it is the way skill animations are XD (specially male toon)

 

What about the animation ?
and btw i wanna know for real which char i go for next Songweaver or sorcer i want to be a killer not a debuffer or timer i liked sm and iam good in it but i want now a KILLER. a magic killer

Nah gunner way too easy to master and don't require skill at all.
it's like a full donation glad.
any ways please answer i want a killer that kills easily and fast when mastered idc about dieing along i get kills so sorc or bard ?

 

All classes require skills. I can only count full donator gunners who can kill me so it's not the class, it's the player. Same with Sorcs, and SMs.

and i explained after it i said what i want is to try smth new either a sorcer or songweaver and i want a killer.
