Quick question about servers and factions

Currently playing Asmodian on Siel like I did before (although it was a couple years ago) and I just realized that I've seen very very little English in any of the chat channels. Obviously I don't care if there are Non-English speaking players, but I'm just curious which server and faction seems to have the most English speaking players? It would be nice to actually be able to communicate when I need to, lol. (or am I just missing everyone? I'm in EST so you'd think there would maybe be people on at the times I am but maybe not...)

The elyos side in siel has more english speaking players. Just go to sanctum and you ll see them.

Not sure about Lumiel but im guessing they also have a lot of english speaking players, but the population in Lumiel is smaller so it might be harder to find those people.

In asmo side in Siel most people just hang out at Altgard, you can check it out. And from my experience most of them can speak english, depending on the time you log-in.

 

Yeah, the only time I actually did see a lot of English chat was back in 2.0 when I started playing here..

As for the factions, I'm not entirely sure. I have friends on both sides who can speak English very well so, hah.

 

Oh you will find a LOT of people with broken english everyday. A lot of them.
I guess people do speak english, but their english is not that good. It happens. It's not just Gamez I guess, it's everywhere.

And about the "which server has more english speakers", I personally seemed to find people with proper english on Lumiel way more than I do on Siel. People who go on Lumiel go because they are smart and want to play fairly with stigmas (teehee) so most of the time they're also smart enough to speak fluent English.

But before you go ahead and decide you want to change servers because of the English speakers, let me note that Lumiel is less populated than Siel and you won't find the same amounts of PvP.

That's what I got from my short time on Lumiel.

Well my opinion about the english speaking people is that the server is 80% literally composed of BRs and Pinoys which among the 80%, only around 20% can speak english fluently and with proper grammar. Some can understand english completely but has a difficulty speaking it. I'm not only talking about the BRs and Pinoys though, even with some Europeans, they understand but have a hard time speaking in english.

 

Elyos has the most English Speaking Players and overpopulated as well.

 

i wonder...how can u speak on lfg? the thread is stupid...is like i m from china and i m asking in spain why no1 speaking my language just accept that not whole world speak english bcs they dont have a reason for that.

 

I do get what you're trying to say however in my opinion people who are trying to communicate with you as they want something from you could possibly find a great advantage in trying to find a language that both the users share. You are right, it doesn't HAVE to be English however since mostly, the game IS in fact English and most of the advertisements are English, people could go the extra mile to practice it a bit.What The thread is not stupid and is in fact helpful out there for some of us that want to go to a run with people that actually listen and communicate properly instead of going their own path and messing up a whole run just as they do not understand you.

To actually reply to the thread, I find lots of players who are very good English speakers, mostly I find them to be from the UK which is very convenient as I live in London. No idea where you can find specific people with good English, the "usual hangout" place from Altgard kind of moved to Pandemonium, so good luck!

P.s: I did not mean to offend anybody, these are just my views and my own opinion about the situation. Don't get offended as I do not blame anybody and everybody has their right to do as they wish to do so.

 

They do have a reason for that, english was picked as the main language of communication between foreigners for a reason. I'm greek and people in Greece are pretty much forced to learn English while they're growing up. And I guess that's the same with most of Europe.

Some people that PM me on my AM often say things that make zero sense and then they get mad at me when I tell them to repeat cause I don't understand what they're saying.

 

I see alot of english speakers on Siel they mostly say weak, noob, please, f**k, i***t, s****d, and ADD PLS(mostly it's on caps) XD
but imo elyos on siel has more (decent ones) since they are more populated than asmos.

 

American based server..learn to speak english mthrfkers. Or leave idc.

yeah american server mthrfker...that s why most of donations come from EU.....and even game AION which u play was made for 4 languages..not for english only. i bet if it was made in french u couldnt log into game haha.

Yes, and you know that most donations come from Europe how? And Of course I could log into the game. Would I though ? No, I wouldn't play a non-american server....This is all the equivalent of me going to a Philippine based server and complaining that they don't speak English...just fucking retarded.

Mine isn't perfect either but at least i don't suck at my main language.
