problem about screenshots

maybe someone can help with this: everytime i take a screenshot of my aion its says "saved in *insert your aion screenshot folder here*" and i guess its ok. BUT, that folder doesnt exist in my aion directory, and if i use search on my pc, theres no file called, for example, Aion0003.jpg as it was saved just a minute before.

any idea? :3 if yes, tell me. if not, ill fear everyone and use spirit sub while debuffing and curseclouding :\

and the paint does not appear

well, u better create a folder name "Screenshot" inside your AION FOLDER..... just try it ^_^

 

I've done this and have also repair the aion and does not solve

 

well i got the same prob here too... i gave up solving it LOOOONG time ago xD so stop trying... waste of time

 

Try those folders:


C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\NCSOFT\Aion\Screenshot (if 32bit)

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\Aion\Screenshot (if 64bit)

Well, i encounter the same problem.. I stopped trying to solve it long ago.

I use fraps to take screenshots ^^

 

or u can just run mspaint, take SS in game, go back to paint, press ctrl+v, save it as jpg

I got like 1000 screenshots in aion, from before years ago... but my new SS arent saving too... thats what I do exactly too...

 

You could take a look in those folders:

If you cant find any folders in there, create them and try again.

 

I've found a "solution" to the problem however don't quite know what the exact "solution" was haha.

First of all, after some research I've noticed that mostly your firewall blocks Aion from "creating" a file in the system, don't ask me why. (This has happened on Windows 7 64bit)
I thought antiviruses can actually do the same and yes, I was right. Kaspersky ended up blocking Aion from creating files as well, and even, creating the Screenshot folder. If you want to make your own Screenshot folder I kind of suggest not doing it, since, later, the new screenshots will get bugged and "overlap".

What I did to get my screenshots was to delete every single Gamez patch (technically just repair it) then launch the official game, take a screenshot, then just re-patch your client and voila. If this did not work then try to play around with your firewall settings and enable Aion to be allowed. I will try to check what I have exactly done to solve this if anybody is interested!
