Character Body not shown

Hi, I am new to the forums here and to AION, I just managed to download and got the game up and running,
But I noticed from the character selection screen only Heads of the characters was shown, there body was invisible.

I then managed to create a character,thinking if I logged in the game it will appear, it has not, could anyone help me out with this issue please.

I have downloaded the NCsoft client, I did not update it however, just used the Gamerz Aion launcher from there.

I am not sure how to check what version it is also, I did not see were it shows.

If anyone could help me with this problem please, would be grateful thank you.

 

Hi and welcomes.

Your problem sounds like you're still missing files from your AION installation, in particularly the files associated to objects/equipments.

To fix the problem, you'll need to open the NC Launcher again and do a File Repair.
You must let ALL the installation finish completely before any attempt to login.

Afterwards installing/repairing, you can run the Gamez Launcher (as Admin), press update and it should work.

I am still having problems, after repairing the file from the NC soft launcher, I was afk for a few mins, it had started automatically updating it got to about 12% before I came and cancelled it.

After that I relaunched Gamerz launcher, and this time I saw a Update link above the Start Link, that was a difference.

I could not click start game, so I clicked on update, a Error messages appeared, then after i closed it, I could thereafter click start, upon trying to log into the game, were it was to take me to my character selection, another message popped up something about Authorization, then the game closed.

Any help on this ^^?

ok, the message when I tried to log in reads : No game server available to the authorization 6

 

Either way, you still didn't full repair your client yet. Do not cancel the repair, let it go to 100%.

 

Don't cancel the NCSoft download, let it finish;

Then launch the gamez launcher as administrator and click update!
It should fix the Game Server problem

 

Ah hold up, I think I may have solved the problem, lol I had forgotten to launch as Admin ^^ my bad

ok even though I logged in this time, my character screen did not appear, it was just revolving that main title screen clip.

I will allow the NC soft to fully update its (2303) files, I had thought thats the update I was not suppose to allow. thanks for the help

 

yes make sure to let it download through all the stages!! there are 9 of them
