after installing the game problem with updating resetting after a period

Hi again,

This time a friend of mine has had some issues updating the client, after the download,

He said it got to stage 4/9 then it suddenly reset to stage 2 of the update, the process to stage 4 appeared loss,

Is there any thing that is known why this happened, and if there is a way to prevent it from future.

this is a known bug that was in introduced with the last version of the NCSoft Launcher..
According to Issues with the new Aion launcher - Aion Forums

I guess his download was stuck at 12% after going from stage 4 to stage 2.
