Chanter VS Gladiator

I know gladiators have really good damage but who do you think will win 1 vs 1? Who will survive longer in mass pvp, both have same good gears?

 

Depends how good they are...most of the time a chanter will wreck a glad though.

 

For the chanter's part. They will need good timing and knowledge of when to and when not to use certain skills. I used to lose all the time to a few glads who had Hac sets vs my Principal. But then i face glads who had full arbiter and they couldnt even damage me. So basically, when it comes down to it. Who ever times their skills better wins. Me 1 vs 1 Gladdies were always my favorite fights. The fight could go either way.

all a glad has to do is use remove shock and its over...unless they have ud. A smart chanter will then just time his stumbles and rape their hp...simple.

No. But there is not much point in having more than 1100 or stacking stupid high ma on a chanter as most people dont even wear mr.

 

I had my Crit at around 1150 and had full MA. MA allows your Stuns to proc more and your godstones. My MA was around 2100 I think? ITs been 4 months since i played chanter,

 

Wow that's a lot of crit and ma! Is that with buffs on or not?

 

Principal Full MA/Crit, my second set had full MA/Att for damage and my third set was full MR for support. Full buffs, IDIAN, Shepherd gear. ETC ETC

So how would you feel about someone who has 7 sets for cloth alone and 3 sets for all the others XD.

 

Equal gear, ping and "skill" = chanter

We don't really have any good chanters on gamez, meanwhile glad is a lot easier to learn to a semi-decent level of faceroll.

All a glad has to do is bait out rise, remove shock, the 10min cd shield and prot ward ..at the same time. Zerking > aether hold > exhausting wave > crashing blow > crushing blow > DB > crip cut > final strike > win. Same with clerics, bait out the important stuff while keeping your important skills and zerking till that moment. If both classes are waiting on eachother's buffs the glad will eventually "get the fight going" due to some lucky random kd lock that would force the chanter to start doing stuff.

What happened, i remember everyone on siel used to roll mr like mad, every single damn class....now nobody ?

 

Vintage okay now i feel noob, i want to ask. (question symbol) Why a glad with hac set kills you and a glad with arb was not able to kill you faster than the hac one(question symbol)

 

With the last few updates MR has become pretty useless especially with mix fights unless you have a damage set you wont kill anything. So everyone even clerics are abandoning mr completely.

and well on siel anyways chanters can just switch to shield and mace and out-heal glad dps if things start to go wrong for them.
But generally speaking yes if they are waiting each other out its going to come down to random luck...but i still see it going in the chanters favor Gladiators arnt the only ones who can kd/stumble lock

Are glads so pathetic in siel that they get outhealed by chanters ??? Even with the extra skills ? Goddamn that's some sad stuff right there.
As for the fight thing the chanter WOULD win....but we have none of those.

 

there are 2 good glads on siel Wudang and Purell and 1 good chanter Chibby so yes ....and well you can speak for lumiel lol so....?

 

No chanters, glads.....idk, there are some that hit hard, but never seen any that use tactics and bait the opponent's cooldowns. They're all just UD>zerk>charge > faceroll
