Aion download problem (after deleting it)

Hi fellas,

First of all forgive me for my novice english. Ok here is my problem:

I had the game installed for months, and today i wanted to play. So i had no better idea that uninstalling it and download again and start from zero. I uninstalled completely the game and downloaded from the home page (and redirected to official aion website) the aion game launcher in order to download the game. At this point i had nothing but the launcher, everything was uninstalled and deleted from my pc. But the problem is that everytime i launch the launcher it says "downloading updates and patches" BUT NOT THE GAME ITSELF! I tried everything, i cant download the game. The launcher wants to download patches and patch i dont know which game ...

I tried uninstalling all, installing again, and nothing. The launcher always want to download patches. here's a screenshot:

What can i do?

Have you tried to reinstall the launcher itself?

 

or had tried run as admin ?

 

Yes, i did.

I have just tried and its the same. It stills looking for updates and i havent got the game installed.

 

If u uninstall the whole thing including the actual ncsoft launcher ur gonna have to open the ncsoft launcher and download and install it untill thats done the gamez launcher wont work properly it take a few hours though

 

The shortcut's name is the name of the game the NCsoft launcher is going to update, so for Aion, the shortcut should be in the Aion main folder and it looks like this



Doesn't matter if you don't have the game installed at all or if you are 1 version away from being totally updated with NCsoft, the launcher will say it needs to be updated in order to play the game so just hit the orange button and let it download the client, the size is about 27 GB max (decompressed) so it's going to take a while. Once the download is done I believe it's going to ask you to "install" the updates (which are actually the compressed client files), click on "Install" and after it's done you will be able to launch Aion, if you are going to play with us, here is the downgrade which you are going to need: [Guide] Downgrade 4.5.0.19 to 4.5.0.14

I'll try that. The only thing is that when i hit update button it says its downloading a 4.25gb patch

 

Yea it's gotta start from somewhere, just let it download all it has to and you'll be fine
