Is it worth coming back?

Hi there. My name is Raptorz and I used to play on Siel about 4 years ago.
I quitted Gamez Aion because it was full of zergs and you could not have fair fights, you couldn't have much fun PvPing.

I just remembered all the fun I used to have on Gamez Aion, playing with my guild <Carrots> (we were very close to which others and I really had fun with them).
I do not know if my name or the name's guild where I used to be is familiar to you but if it is, let me know!

I checked my main's characther gear and it seems to be not so good nowadays. There must be better gear now. Veille's greatsword, anuhart set and a bunch of food and pots.

Is it worth come back? Are there someone from the "old school" times? I saw the top posters on the main page of Gamez's Forum and there still Smartik, Nyusagi, Alente, Ashtar, Dementa, Dimitra, Sauuron that I used to see actively on this forum. Is there someone from Carrots who still playing on this server?

Why are you asking somebody else if it is worth coming back for you? I mean, wouldn't you know better if it is worth coming back for you?

I mean, this server had been falling down since 2012, I think. Many people left at the same time as me. My question is: if is the server better overall... but you started Dec 2013? You mustn't know what I am talking about

 

Do you still enjoy playing MMORPGs? Does AION still peek your interests? If so, then returning to the game might still bring you some fun/joy.

PvP has changed but at the same time it is also the same. We've introduced battlegrounds, often in fairer match ups of GvG, 1vs1, 2vs2vs2 etc. Though there are still open world zergfests, that aspect is a core of AION (or MMOs in general) and will always be a prominent factor.

As for the top posters on forums, they're still on top they like to spam reply to things. Most of us are quite reserved in that aspect =P

I'm glad I still have Aion on my computer. Installed to play on retail a couple of days ago. Just updating the game and installing the Gamez Aion Launcher and I'm ready to go.

Oh hey Raptorz. i came back recently and it was pretty fun, I've quit again because I jump to different games all the time, but I enjoyed being on Gamez again. Do consider though that the population is much lower now.

You can start by having amazing friends to give you gear Q-Q

I don't know if I remember correctly but when ABG was the top set back in my day, one piece was worth 2.5k credits right? Well now for one piece of the best set you need 3.5k credits. Plus 7k credits for the best wings. Plus another 7k for the accessories unless you're lucky enough to play support cleric where you won't need that.

Oh and 2.5k for a title. And 1k-2.5k for an auto buffing pet just to be sure c:

 

Ohoh, alright. So I am going to ask people if they have an extra Glad set that can give me... And yeah, I do remember when ABG was the top set, unfortunately I gave it to a friend coz I wasn't going to play on the next years. Wish me luck!
Plus I was lvl 55 when I stopped. Now the max level is 65 and for some reason I'm at 62. So, I really need the gear. Already started voting. Btw, can't vote on Gtop 100 and on TopGorg
