Pretty much what everyone else said. Aion has been out for several years now and basically it's gotten boring for a lot of people. I played when only the Korean version existed then participated in closed beta for NA and several months into release. It's a fun game for awhile, but the pvp gets really stale and their's not much pve on this server to be had. Plus better MMO's are coming out and more MMO's are starting to go f2p, which creates more options for people to try out. When I first played Aion, the only thing the game had going for it was that it had the whole "flying pvp" mechanic and decent graphics for the time period.

It's still a pretty decent MMO, but in today's fickle market that is not good enough anymore. You either float or you sink when it comes to MMOs.

 

That is easy:
- Change things that were working, like remove Gelk NPCs.
- Implement things that could be "forgotten" to a PVP server, like GP implementation and block the NPC from the Hall of Fame.
- Absence of GM to patrol the server and prevent hackers to play.
- Hackers, cheaters and alike.
- Unbalanced server.
and so on.....

Still, the most incredible is that Gamez is one of the best private servers to play. It is a pity see things like those (considering I'm here since 1.something) on a server with so much potential.

Because later in life, they face the reality that life does not revolve on AION alone. no matter how popular you are before and up until now, someday you will realize that there are more important things in life that you have to face - responsibility. thats all there is. you might have so much time playing right now and no matter how much friends you made from all these years you are in this community, someday you will and somehow will call it quits and focus on things that are more important.
