Safe Zones are not visible after downgrade

    I was in version 4.5.0.7 and was able to play but there are some error warnings every time I open the Gamez Launcher (but still was able to get in and play). I just don't know if there are some stuff I won't be able to see. Then, today I decided to update my ncsoft and downgraded. I am currently in version 4.5.0.14 and I can't see the safezones and elyos remained red even if they are (possibly) inside the safe zones. I know 2 other people who are currently experiencing this after downgrade. Any insights about this? :surprised::lol::smile:

    Hi! I wasn't able to get back to you. Thank you very much. It seems that I used the old guide to downgrade (4.5.0.15 to 4.5.0.14). Now it's fix and I can't thank you enough.

    By the way, do you have any idea about "send log" after extracting the latest the item.pak?

    Hi there :)

    Depending on which version of item.pak you used. I suggest you to us the compressed version of the item.pak. If your game keeps crashing, try to use the loose version and see if that works for you. :)

    It's not mine actually, it's my husband's. He tried both loose and compressed but doesn't work. There's really something wrong with his account. His quests are bugged. I don't know if he has something, probably an item in his warehouse/account warehouse which is bugged. He's been playing Aion since 2008-2009 I guess he has a lot of items there which is no longer "readable" with the latest patch. LOL! (I'm not even sure if I'm making any sense at all)

    Send log errors because of Items.pak that happen when the client is loading has nothing to do with the account, first try to leave the folder Aion\Data\USA\Items empty, launch the game and see if it's working, if it does work and you get to the login screen without any issue, put only ONE of the items.pak version (loose files = 3 .xml files only. Compressed = 1 file only (Items.pak)), see with which version does it work, for win7 users normally both do

    Or if by "Extracting the Items.pak" you mean extracting the files from the .rar and it gives Access Denied it's because of the User Account Control of window, just extract the Items.pak to a folder where you don't need admin rights to add files in (like desktop for example), or just turn it off and restart your computer

    He can play without the new item.pak from Gamez which means he can play with itempak from ncsoft. The moment he change it to Gamez itempak, he cannot get in because of send log error. But we will try what you suggested and I'll get back to you. Thanks so so so much.

    Downgraded using 4.5.0.20 - 4.5.0.14 Guide but can't log in.. "no authorization server". UAC is off, repaired NCsoft and tried again but can't log in to Gamez. What could be the problem?

    Didn't even try to put the new item.pak or anything with itempaks (like what you suggested)


    UPDATE: Ignore what I wrote above. Was able to fix it. Now the item.pak... goodluck to me!
