gamez aion launcher weird problem / login works, but no character screen.

here a little translation of some words: Toegang tot het pad = access to the path
is geweigerd = is rejected.

i don't know how to fix this. i am able to start the game now tough. BUT!
as soon as i log in, it puts me to the terms and conditions, i accept those, the terms and conditions screen disappears and then... nothing. it will be stuck at the animation of your screen 'walking trough a big dark hallway' and no character selection screen appears.

i've tried everything, but i don't know what to do. thank you!

 

Hm i am no expert but have you maybe tried re-installing the gamzeaion client? (clear it from the ncsoft folder and install a fresh new one) i

 

Do you have the right version of Aion? If you have the newest version of the game, you have to downgrade here.

You will need to replace the items.pak if you haven't do it yet.

 

another error

i re-installed aion and the gamez aion installer. now when i double klick the gamez aion installer. Now when i double klick the GamezAion installer it sais:"This file contains invalid data"

i don't know what to do next.. :I

@Kretia. I started the launcher multiple times as administrator but it didn't work every single time.

 

Where did you install the game? on C:\?

 

i did that before, i have C\ and D\. All my games go to D\ (which has the most GB storage).
but i installed in on C\ and it said the same thing back then, i re-installed it on D\ and now it sais the same thing.

But just trying to start up the GamezAion installer already gives me: "This file contains invalid data", no matter if i installed Aion on my pc or not. so it's kinda weird

sure! weird thing is tough, i had Gamez Aion installed and working on my pc 6 months ago. but now when i want to come back to it, i'm having these weird problems

 

Mostly happens as the clients got updated (especially in the last 6 months) and you do not have the current version which you actually need. Usually you just have to update your NCSoft client, downgrade and then apply the latest item.pak.

 

hmm, okay i'll try that!, is ther any tutorial or guide for me to look at so i can apply those changes?

 

Of course, after you updated your NCSoft Launcher, you have to downgrade (http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]-downgrade-4-5-0-20-4-5-0-14-a-180069/) and then apply the item.pak (http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]-4-7-4-5-014-items-pak-177961/) as already mentioned~

is the NCSoft launcher the same thing as AionInstaller ?. because i googled NCSoft launcher and that's the thing i got from it. i updated that fully tough

 

The AionInstaller.exe is an installer, as the name already says it. Go to C:\Program Files (86x)\NCsoft\Aion and there should be your NCSoft client (the shortcut icon could be on your desktop too) which you have to open and click on the update button if you haven't done that yet. Your client version should be like 4.5.0.2x (as it updates regularly). You can check your client easily by checking the version.ini file in your Aion folder.

 

my winrar sais this when i open the downgrade files, i closed it and tried extracting. then it said something like this again and i just closed the window. Did i do it right?

 

I suggest you to open the rar file and just drag out the files which are in it. I just downloaded it and did that same thing, worked for me. Make sure your download completed.
