hi all got a question what is the best crit rate for ranger?

be happy for answer

 

440 is roughly 22% on the fail RnG I believe. soft cap is 540. strike resist with ful +15 takes about 3% so, 600 would get you the MAX benefit. But I think with food and crit scrolls, you really only need 400-440

 

There are debates whether or not attack stones are useful, but as far as crit goes, the generally accepted new soft cap is 540, but as long as you're around 400 (un buffed) and have access to consumables such as foods and scrolls that boost crit rate, you'll be fine.

hard cap 541+

0 Crit Strike - 440 Crit Strike

• For every additional 10 Crit Strike you add after +1 1% chance of doing Critical Damage

441 Crit Strike - 540 Crit Strike

• For every additional 20 Crit Strike you add after +441 1% chance of doing Critical Damage

541 Crit Strike - 999999 Crit Strike

• For every additional 50 Crit Strike you add after +541 1% chance of doing Critical Damage
• It would be very hard to get greater than 51% chance of a Crit Strike every time you attack a target.

 

yeah well you forgot to factor in the horrible RnG gamez has, not to mention 1.9-2.0 mechanics AND STRIKE RESISTS. although this is a good guide for 1.5 retail

 

my ranger had about 740+ crit, and about 600 attack and she was doing 2.5k-3k and 3k+ cits.

and she crit'd about every 3rd or 4th hit.

 

But I must have like 441 crit and the rest I put attack should I leave it like that or add more crit

 

the fact that crit resist has been added doesn't change the lowered crit rate you gain after the 440 crit.440=44%, 460=45% and so on.don't think that you will have 600 crit and will have 60% crit rate
