No free fly anymore?

Yeah, I agree as well. All of the hype is going to be gone, pretty quickly. It's like back then when we all wanted 1.9 and then we got all the bugs and stuff and everyone started to complain and then once most of the bugs were fixed and after playing 1.9 for awhile, they start asking for 2.0

 

What ? Asmos gonna QQ when they won't be able to take over Eltnen or invade Heiron ? Get over it people ! Heiron/Belu for ground pvp, abyss for fly pvp. End of story.

 

we did not complain bcoz of the update.. we complain bcoz if u guys will change somethng atleast make it right,, and no,,
ur flight shield is not working.. elyos or asmo can fly in belu or heiron from town..

note: if u guys will change something.. atleast make them right,, dont change it when its only 50% complete.. and besides.. ground pvp is awesome.. only that ur shield/barier is off.. put it back.. so that we can feel the full extent of this update.. ciao

no free fly, ... stupid idea ... it's more long to make quest and when a low level meet an elyos it's an more easy target ... when we fall in whole, go obelisk ... stupid stupid stupid, i prefere that one or two elyos kill me on the way... it's not funny to walk on all the map for kill 3 poor vigaro

Free fly is on Only Heiron and beluslan are Ground PVP maps.

Ground pvp dont work, we can fly everywhere in heiron or in beluslan

Dude, this is the most awesome addition to this server. How can anyone NOT like ground pvp?

 

This is very annoying for resource gathering. If they wanted to make a Ground PvP map I was hoping they would add some new ground-only maps (Balaurea? Dredgion? whatever.. bring some new ones there, other servers have them) instead of sacrificing PvE areas like Beluslan (there are a lot of quests and especially many useful resources to be gathered in Beluslan and having to walk to them now is a PITA).
Also, I haven't visited Alukina's Palace after the change, but last time I checked the entrance portal was bugged and I could only get in there by coming in flight above the mountains around it. I hope they didn't f*ck that up too now, that was the best place for Asmos to gather good quality Aether..

 

You need a quest completed (cannot remember which one) that allows to enter through the portal in the front of Alukina. As most of the important quests are bugged, this will throw off needed aether gathering.

Has anyone checked Fire Temple area? Still able to fly there? If so, there are some lvl 300 nodes there, for those that need to gather for scrolls/potions/etc.

As for ground pvp, I cannot wait to get home for this. Melee classes have been waiting for this. Less flight speed hackers YEAH! Not just sorc/ranger flight pvp anymore YEAH!

I do think that putting the shield up (like retail) for gathering aether is needed, and should be able to be used by both factions within this shield. When you move away from fortress and shield, would say "cannot fly in this zone" NOW begins the ground pvp. I thought when ground pvp was first brought up, it would be like retail?

Oh well, will see all when I get home, damn clock is going SO SLOW! :devil:

 

As opposed to the change that you are, most people on the server wish for free fly to be disabled in select maps, while some people (such as myself) would not mind if free fly was disabled everywhere.

As unfortunate as it is for you, free-fly restriction in beluslan and hieron will not hamper your game play at all. Just think of it as an opportunity for more interesting pvp.

 

I just wonder when ppl will start to QQ about the no~flying effect on these two maps...

Or they will just start camping and raiding in Elten and Morpheim (if I say it right) ...
