wtf is this ****

Just taken me 3 days to farm the mats to make Wise dragon tunic. first go it fails.

Now gotta go do another grind if i wish to try again.

How the hell are all these dragon armors around, even just farming the solid scales take friggin ages. let along the greater mithril ore that dropped only 8 units per 165 normal mithril i got.

i call shenanigans on all this dragon armor around, what a crock of shit.

3 days for the mats for just one piece and it fails. **** it.:devil:

gathering aether and morphing them into the ores is much easier.

 

Although your frustration is understandable, please keep in mind that failure is always a possibility when crafting.

When gathering items like ores, try using speed tap, instead of normal gathering (unless you need regular ores?). Speed tapping is hitting the [esc] button, or moving a tiny bit when you get an undesirable gather, thus cancelling that gather, and allowing you to try again speeding up the process of getting rare ores from nodes.

As far as gathering scales, skins and horns, near some fortresses are clusters of balaur mobs which drop all three at 100% rates (if you're premium). Farming the scales etc does not take that long if you know where to go.

The hardest part of crafting balic items is gathering the rare aethers, since there is no effective way to speed that process up, with the exception of buying from the auction house if you've got the cash to spare.

Didnt know that bit, thanks for the info. kinda of annoying farming that stuff in DP on select elite mobs. only for it to "poof" on the first attempt.
