Ground War Event

Hello,

I would like to welcome all interested legions to a Ground war battle unlike anything you've ever seen. 3 alliances vs 3 alliances. 144 CHOSEN WARRIORS PICKED TO BATTLE TO THE DEATH.

All battling for cold hard Kinah!!

Location: TBD

Rules: No flying, No kisk's

Purse: 1,440,000,000 to be divided by winners and Mucho Bragging rights!!!

entry fee of 10,000,000 per player will be collected on the day of the event. all combatants must be registered for battle prior to entry.

Time: Monday Sept 6-2010


So if your legion thinks there tough then come on down and challenge another legion....

Event will be recorded and edited by me and my crew. then posted on you tube.


If you do not have 72 players in your legion and would like to team up with another legion please let me know.

if the referees see someone flying the entire legion will be eliminated. The prize money will go to the other legion. WE WILL HAVE VIDEO PROOF

So not one Legion is man enough to battle for kinah?

Everyone wants to zerg rush lowbies but when it comes down to REAL PVP everyone is scared?

 

Hmmm sounds good to me but the problem is the time-zome and the organizing part. We could set a day and hour so most of the players could be available but yet we need an area and referees and the help of GMs...

Lot of stuff to do man...

I want it but I think the server is not yet ready for it. If this will be fulfilled then the legion <CodeWeb> will join this war..

 

you should talk with a GM about this. i use to do this rarely when players requested it to me.

if any of the GMs have the time, they should be able and willing to help you out.

 

GM's are too busy to entertain this kind of event because it will really take time.

 

keep the lag into consideration.

But the purse is not worth the time and effort.

OK UPDATE

Location: there's a zone that's just an open field that is only accessible by GM's so yes we will need a GM for this. There is plenty of room for 144 people there plus film crew and the refs.

As far as organizing this we shouldn't rely on GM's to do everything, ultimately we have to make the game fun we are the community. Most GM's are too busy entertaining complaints and playing the game there selves. I can clearly make a roster and work out timing with the leaders of each legion wanting to participate.

Purse: As far as the purse is concerned 1.4 billion isn't much so instead lets get some ideas on how much each legion is willing to put forward and we can decide from there.


Also I will be willing to organize events like this regularly i have Tons of ideas and the time to do so. I guess I would just need some backing to become an Event GM which will allow me to port people. I just feel like we have so many people and so few GM's the events get over looked but when they are done there Trivia, hide and seek, or 1v1 PVP.


As far as the server is concerned i don't think it will crash but we can do preliminary matches maybe 6v6 or 24v24. We can gauge the effects of the battles.

So basically this would just be a bigger event than normal with the players paying the cash instead of the GMs?

 

Dem, That sounds about right, Ever play Poker? Think of it that way, the Legions pay to enter, and winner take all... or in this case winners split the pot.

 

I think this is a good idea and a good chance for assassins to take advantage here. I would like to help organize but only if it takes place on a weekend o.o otherwise I wont have a chance to join in
