540 crit strike its the max?

hi i wanna know if i have after 540 crit strike i will be get more chance to make a crit or after 540 its doesn't matter

i wanna ask 1 more thing how much damge 5 attack point giving
and what better 330 crit strike more after 540 crit or 110 attack point
im wating for answer <

 

No, 540 = Soft cap.

E.G:
300 = 30% Crit Rate
540 = 54% Crit Rate
650 = ~57% Crit Rate (*)
1000 = ~64% Crit Rate (*)

(* = Rough Estimate)

I have 820 passive crit on my gladiator, honestly, if I don't crit, I'm surprised.

 

thats actually wrong. it ends up being half that on gamez due to a buggy rng

 

I tested it about a week ago, the numbers aren't "half" as you said.

 

the soft cap is 440. i think.

 

on retail the soft cap is 450

 

the softcap is 540 but sets +15 have crit strike resist i think which how i say it, cancels some of your crit. Eg you are dueling someone with 100 resist and you got 540 critical ~>> 540 crit - 100 resist strike = 440 crit

so it is always a good idea socket more than what you need ; )

Crit Rate diminishing return does not apply on this server, so every 10 crit rate will always give you 1% crit.

 

you are totaly wrong at 540.just because crit resist is added that doesn't mean that crit rate has changed to..see some profiles of players in retail.
where have you seen that new cap is 540?is there a link about it?no matter how many times i have seen the 1.9 patch notes i haven't seen anything about change in crit cap.and by judging from retail players that rarrely reach 500 with buff food and scroll,i don't think there is a change of it.
after 440 is 1% for 20 crit rate.so at 540 is 49%.and there is no 67% the highest rate is 51% i think

+0 Crit Strike - +440 Crit Strike

• For every additional 10 Crit Strike you add after +1 1% chance of doing Critical Damage

+441 Crit Strike - +540 Crit Strike

• For every additional 20 Crit Strike you add after +441 1% chance of doing Critical Damage

+541 Crit Strike - +999999 Crit Strike

• For every additional 50 Crit Strike you add after +541 1% chance of doing Critical Damage

It is recommended to have 440 to 540 Crit Strike if you are a physical damage class.
So Basically:
It would be very hard to get greater than 51% chance of a Crit Strike every time you attack a target.

 

i think you dont understand what soft cap is.

 

there is no change in crit cap for christ shake.if there is then show us a link or something.just because crit resist from armor enchant and wings etc has been added,still there is no change in crit cap,its still 440.you just raise your crit so you crit hit the +10 and +15 armor set users.don't think that your rate increases too.
crit cap=0 - 440 1% crit rate for 10 points
soft cap=441-540 1% crit rate for 20 points
hard cap=541 and above 1% crit rate for 50 points

 

1.9 changed the soft crit cap.

 

ye in 1.5 it was 440 now because we gain lvls i guess is at 540

 

I just experimented on unstable triroan, the only time I didn't crit was when I was unlucky, or he evaded / blocked.

 

i don't know where you saw that crit cap is 540,but in aionsource and in retail forum all people say is 440

 

I think it is 440 thats what i belleive

 

in my ranger i got 780 crit without buff

 

780 is too much..715 is enough to crit hit a +15 armor set with ABG acc and wings
715-195-65-15=440
